Disaster film buffs will go see 2012 for the epic destruction special effects. Women who wouldn’t have bought a ticket to this kind of flick will go just to hear Adam Lambert’s new rock ballad (bottom of the poster).

I can’t remember the last time I was scared watching a movie? The last horror film I’ve seen was “Room 1408″ and even that didn’t scare me,,,,

Another prob I have with these slasher films is nobody ever has a weapon or night vision capabilities. Jason,, huh’ gimme a 12 gauge loaded with slugs and I’ll blow that machete along with his arm away.
When I’m done with him there won’t be enough left for the buzzards to munch on… Sequel? Not likely !

I hear ya. I liked the first 2 Halloween movies, the first couple of Nightmare on Elm Street films, and the first Friday the 13th. However, now on the rare occasion when I DO watch a horror film, I find myself laughing at the absurdity of it. These stupid gorefests aren’t scary, they’re just GROSS. Se7en is scarier than any of these movies coming out now and so is The Silence of the Lambs.

The only movie out of these posters I care about is Where the Wild Things Are, the only other I might go see is The Road and that is because Viggo is a great actor.

Andy, how many times can people watch sequels of Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Friday the 13th.
Boggles the mind.

I can’t believe they’re making a reboot of “Bad Lieutenant” with Cage? Anyone see the original with Keitell? Movie was horrible.

No desire to see any of these movies, except maybe Wild Things. I still can’t believe there is going to be a SIXTH Saw movie. How many times can you have people disfiguring themselves before it gets old? I truly think Hollywood is in a decaying, downward spiral towards oblivion.

Where the Wild Things Are is good because it’s simple. I really like first The Road one, but not really sure why.

The other ones are all so-so, except for Bad Lieutenant, which is just horrible. I’ve never seen such large floating heads, it’s ridiculous.

As for Fantastic Mr. Fox, I really hate the character designs.
