I would seriously like to know why the powers that be felt that "The Taking of Pelham 123" had to be remade.
The original was perfect. Why would they stick their fingers into a cake someone took hours to decorate?
There are so many good stories out there and wasting money on trying to outdo perfection is shameful at best, but in these hard times, it is unforgivable.

Both posters look good, but don't tell all. Personally I prefer that; some of the movies I've most enjoyed watching are ones I had no idea what was about to happen.
Maybe because they're both remakes there is a feel they don't need to say much.

Although... while the remake of Pelham might be a pretty good movie, I know it will never beat the original for me. One of my favourite movies of all time.

The Taking of Pelham 123 poster looks more like a DTV Cover.
If I knew nothing about this movie, (no ads, history of original, trailers, etc), then I would have thought that it is a movie set in New York (again), John Travolta is a bad guy because of the mean look and tattoo, and Denzel is some innocent bystander caught up in something. And, bad things happen.
So, aside from the whole taking over the train thing, the poster seems effective.

That image of the train could mean anything...it could be an unoffical sequel to Money Train, who knows?
