i think the terminator salvation posters look more fan made that offical. They just look so rushed shame considering this is meant to be a restart to the terminator franchise.

Ken J says:

I liked the other Terminator posters much better. Especially the one that had a bunch of T600’s and that’s it.

love the terminator posters

The Terminator posters look seriously average. I’ve seen the endo face so many times that its lost its impact on me…
I would have gone with maybe a Flying HK with a destroyed city background, maybe some landmarks we would all know,,, they could have even done them city specific. With Skynet controlled versions of Manhattan, Chicago, or LA. The posters would have been collectable at that point and would have generated more buzz than this,,,

Anything other than the two stars and a endo thrown in for effect. Yaawwwwn,,,

Obviously Bale and Worthington had to have their image’s in the poster. I always hate when actors demand half the face time on the movie posters.

2012, Looks like the Sun is involved, other that its just 4 numbers staring at me,,, being that its a Roland Emmerich film I won’t be seeing it anyway,,, :-)

Ken J says:

Hopefully the film isn’t released until 2012 and the world actually ends in 2012 so we won’t have to actually see it…

Ken J says:

Oh wait, I take that back, the world has to end in 2013 so we can see The Avengers…

790 says:

Ha ha !!!
Good one KJ,,,

Rob Keyes says:

I like your Terminator poster idea, 790 – I’d want that poster on my wall :)

Rob Keyes says:

@ Ken J,

Good point, lol

790 says:

Thanks Rob, it goes to show that symbolism goes along way if you use it right,,,

I as a Terminator fan am not looking for 15 new Terminator cyborgs. I’m looking for a moving story,,,

I know its a lot to ask for.

T1 and T2, were moving stories, not just helicopters landing on T-600’s.

Ken J says:

I’m not too keen on the “new” Terminators either. I think I would be more confident if they would have stuck with just the HK’s and T-600’s and maybe introduce the T-800 toward the end.

But I’m still interested enough to go watch it. I am cautiously optimistic mainly because of all of the praise so far from those who have seen parts of it, the fact that Christian Bale and Sam Worthington read the script and didn’t laugh it off, and a bit part of it is because Linda Hamilton read the script and didn’t laugh it off. So hopefully these good signs actually lead to something good.

790 says:

I hope your right KJ, but it seems like the players are just jumping on the Terminator money train,,,

Ken J says:

Hamilton didn’t jump on the money train the last time it was offered. Hopefully she’s not just in need of more drugs or something…

No, nothing specific, I just assume all celebrities are on drugs…
