The love is coming to Pokemon Go with its Valentine's Day event. This guide will show players everything they need to do to prepare for this event. Seasonal events are a big deal with games like Pokemon Go. Right before the Valentine's Day event takes place, players will be greeted with the Lunar New Year event and the opportunity to find a Mega Gyrados for the very first time. The Valentine's Day event also comes along with its first debut Pokemon with Munna and Musharna joining the cast for the very first time. These Pokemon originate from the Unova region of Pokemon Black and White and played a vital part in the story when it came to dreams. Now, players will be able to find them for the first time in Pokemon Go. Here are ways players can prepare for this event.

Outside of Munna and Musharna, players will be able to find a Spinda with a Heart pattern on its body as well. New avatar items will be made available in the shop and the game will provide a one-time bundle of three remote raid passes for players who can participate in raid battles from a distance. Here is everything players should do to prepare for this event.

How To Prepare For The Valentine's Day Event in Pokemon Go

Pokemon GO Valentines Day Event Munna Musharna 2021

Here are some ways players can prepare for the Valentine's Day event.

  • Stack up on Pinap Berries: These berries double the number of candy players can get when catching a Pokemon. It makes it much easier to evolve Munna into Musharna with enough Candy and an Unova Stone.
  • The Collection Challenge: Players will need to find both Nidoran genders, Espeon, Umbreon, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Luvdisc, Latias, Latios, and Alomomola. Keep these on your radar to collect the special medal at the end.
  • Collect Unova Stones: These can be found by completing your weekly Field Research. Make sure to check your stamps every day to collect this item.
  • Volbeat and Illumise: These will begin to appear in Raid Battles and each one is region exclusive. Now is the best time to find them both.

Love is in the air in Pokemon Go this time around. Trainers will want to capture as many event-exclusive Pokemon as possible. Make sure to find Munna before it's too late.
