X-Men Origins: Wolverine introduces Gambit.

X-Men Origins: Gambit – Revolves around Remy and the thieves guild. Ororo Munroe was a street thief in Cairo and the early Gambit storyline (Uncanny 266) had him mentoring the de-aged Storm, might as well make that a young Storm for the movie. You could even do a Shadow King bit with Xavier.

X-Men Origins: Storm – Adapt the Lifedeath storyline. Romance with Forge, etc. etc. (Uncanny 186 & 198).

[...] The reviews are… underwhelming to say the least, but I certainly found the film to have its charms. It featured two of the most solid leading performances I’ve seen in a summer blockbuster (Hugh Jackman and Liev Schrieber), it never slowed down enough to allow its preposterous excuse for a plot to catch up with the sheer kinetic thrills and it was unapologetic about what it was. Still… eighty-five million? That means we can look forward to the Japanese-themed sequel and the many, many spinoffs in the next few years – but where’s my Magneto movie? [...]

was he really. I’m glad they never followed through with that. At least based on The origin comics and Wolverine Evolution (a must read) they don’t plan on ever following through with it. But by rights they still haven’t given a definite Sabretooth – Wolerine relasionship. Wolverine The end gives the idea of no relashion at all, but thats a future story and they always backtrack on future stories anyways.

we already know its a Magneto origins story. so its not going to really involve the xmen at all. Id say the main plot line will focus on his relashionship and falling out with Xavier. Maybe building the school and beginning to bring in students for X-Men Origins: First Class (but that would be near the end). I have heard they will have him be the one to cripple Xavier, which would prove to be quite the battle. And would definitly include alot of the wicked powers Magneto has to offer, and would show the extend oof Xavier’s power for the first time (in terms of an actual fight). I’m sure they’d throw in some villan that they Magneto and Charles fight together but I can’t think of who they would use. Apocolypse would be to complicate and take away from the Origin story, but Sinister would be fun, and they could include Gambit and Cyclops again, plus Havok and Vulcan (at a young age of course, and those two would probably be cameos, but itd be cool) But it may have to be a human villian like Trask and some sentinals so Charles and Erik can disagree between killing all the humans for the actions of one (Erik based on fear from his youth) or finding a way to co-exsist (Charles and his dream)

I agree they never should have made Creed Wolverine’s bother, but what gives you the idea its his father. They have made it clear in the comics he isn’t either. Just curious if I’ve missed something along the way.

Magneto has the potential to be the best comic book movie to date. It should start at the same point the start from Xmen 1…maybe even start with the same scene. through flash backs…the main story should be Erik and charles friendship from start to finish. Meeting, discovering powers, starting the school, the disagreements, friendship ending. Well to be honest i think the perfect movie would be a trilogy of sorts. leave the friendship ending out of this movie. around the disagrement starts between charles and Erik after they start the school have Charles Xaviers assaination as in the Age of Apocalypse story line. Do a second movie (that wouldn’t really be a sequel cause it’d no longer be a magneto storyline by rights but an age of Apocalypse movie) followed by a third where the timeline is set right by Xavier no longer being assaniated and then you see the friend ship end the way it should have (instead of magnus taking over the school and trying to achieve Xavier’s dream as he does in AofA) and Magneto and professor X are at ends and actually battle for the first time. However an Age of Apocolypse movie is about as likely as a civil war movie (which would also be amazing) so I won’t hold my breath.
