In December we previewed PlanetSide Arena, the new massive shooter from Daybreak Games, and today we're finally getting hands-on with the ambitious title. Better yet, we're also streaming it as part of the first ever PlanetSide Arena live gameplay reveal!

Launching in Early Access (Steam PC) on September 19, PlanetSide Arena is the new massive-scale, match-based sci-fi shooter that reintroduces players to the revolutionary PlanetSide franchise. Played in squads of 12 or teams of 3, players choose from 1 of 3 initial character classes (Assault, Engineer, or Medic) before deploying onto a massive map to compete in a variety of match-based game modes capable of supporting up to 1,000 players per match. Diverse vehicle selection, a broad arsenal of sci-fi weaponry, personal jetpacks and hoverbikes, advanced loadout system, and fast-paced movement mechanics combine to create an intense sci-fi action shooter at a scale only PlanetSide can produce.
