They’re not the only ones. Drunkenflesh Films announced plans to do the same years ago, but couldn’t because of the rights. Now that the original is in public domain, ‘Graverobbers From Outer Space’ is getting filmed this summer.

You’re right. The website does look bad – our web developer was in the middle of creating the actual site when we found out several websites were going forward with the Plan 9 story, so we had to throw something up in a hurry (we weren’t actually planning on making an announcement about the film until August). Please bear with us, the real site should be live in the near future.

In the meantime, if you’re interested in staying up-to-date on the project, we just put up the Plan 9 MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/plan9movie .

I gave Vic some further info on the remake, which will possibly shed some light on what we’re going for. I’ll let him decide what to do with that info.
