No prob, Tim, check back and let us know what happens with that announcement.

The news over here in the states is a joke. It won't be covered on the tv news I guarantee it.
Last night the top story was the Lakers loosing against the Mavericks and endless Obama worship.

(Its funny my spell check wants to change Obama into Obey, how ironic, not!!!)

@GK333 here's some of what I was referring to.
There is a news story that's been kept out of the American press concerning France disclosing the existence of alien life. They are going to supposedly come out and tell their population that aliens are real before this friday,,,

I've read reports that the Japanese DID successfully launch a lunar mission to photograph the entire surface of the moon. They even promised to release all the photos to the public.

That unexpectedly changed and recently they only released 1% of the photos.
I'll see if I can dig up some facts on that mission.

Good job 790....I believe it is the un-manned "wrekage" in regards to gear and equipment. I know the Atlas rockets sent "something" up there. I do not feel it was human. That covers NASA's tracks. Remember 3 years ago the Japenese were sending a lunar probe that would have the capacity to magnifey a small pepple of a moon rock from orbit with the exact cause for proving we sent a man to the moon. The launch was supposed to take place early 2008. Now that mission has been scrapped. How come? Too many questions but that was huge for actual proof. The Japenese also did the topic-graphs of photos from all of the moon landings and found nothing fit the mountain range ( that was
turned backwards for 2 seperate missions) and computers could not find any of these on the moon......however.....they did find where it was located. Exact match to the photos.......You have 3 guesses, and the first 2 do not count. I enjoy reading your posts 790. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!

@Tim "Cloverfield", I agree that a lot if not all of the moon mission footage was bogus. However I do believe that we went to the moon. Amateur Astronomers have been able to view some of the leftover equipment with consumer grade telescopes.

Sure there's a huge cover up concerning the issue but we either found a way to shield spacecraft from the belt or we have been sending unmanned missions up there,,, :-)

...but 790....how could "we" go to the Moon in the first place since Von Ryan's belt will reduce any life "on board" to a cinder. Look at any 1960's era automobile for example, or look at an airplane in a Museum and imagine it going to the moon. Seriously...the errors NASA has made with this insane farce are to numerous to mention here. The Belt is the best proof it is still impossible if you know anyting about physics, radiation plus the general population of the 60's were so gullable they believed everything the government told them( With the exception of us that were "hippies" back in the day)I mean think about it....my father was an aircraft mechanic in WWII...and he was sending planes up bonded with bailing wire and metal straps just to hold them in one piece. So 15 some odd years later we can send a man to the Moon? Yea.....right.

Wow,

I love how Peter Jackson at Comic-Con for District 9 has spawned a debate about crop circles and alien life :) Only on Screen Rant...

The extent of my knowledge on the subject only goes about as far as the movie Signs... Shyamalan seemed pretty convincing to me...

The space race was between Russia and US and it was overall based in cold war rhetoric.

The first lunar landing was filmed on earth in a UK sound stage because they (Nixon) didn't want to take a chance that the footage wouldn't make it back to Earth due to Van Allen Belt radiation problems etc.

Nixon knew that if the broadcast shots of our astronauts landing on the moon didn't make it back on Prime time TV that it would all be for nothing.

The astronauts did land on the moon but the first mission tv broadcasts (IMO) were doctored... This would explain all the lighting problems with the photos. Also note that we landed on the moon over 3 more times yet you don't see those images,,,

I remember seeing signs around the Convention Center *last year* for this film, although I had no idea of Peter Jackson's involvement. I'll certainly be doing all I can to make it into Hall H for him this year. And while PJ has never attended Comic Con before in person, he has always included video messages to be played during panels for the LOTR movies and for King Kong.
