They even promised to release all the photos to the public. That unexpectedly changed and recently they only released 1% of the photos. I'll see if I can dig up some facts on that mission. The Japenese also did the topic-graphs of photos from all of the moon landings and found nothing fit the mountain range ( that was turned backwards for 2 seperate missions) and computers could not find any of these on the moon......however.....they did find where it was located. However I do believe that we went to the moon. Amateur Astronomers have been able to view some of the leftover equipment with consumer grade telescopes.
