i think with Illiff writing it has a great chance of doing well. he is a master story teller and producers couldent find a better all around guy than him

As the writer reading these comments, I love your consensus that this is the worst movie idea ever — because that’s what is making this project such an opportunity. We are reinventing the world and the characters, poking a bit of fun at them, then dropping them into a heart-felt situation where they must become what they always pretended to be. Think “Galaxy Quest” meets “Taken.” This popcorn movie will sneak up on you. Promise. -p

Yeah, I was a fan of American Gladiators too. Still, this movie has a “worst idea ever” feel to it.
