  3. This movie was dildos.

    • Maybe I’m just really high, but this comment made me laugh…a lot. I’ve not seen any of the paranormal activitys before, just stumbled upon this one at a redbox. And I must say, this might have been the worst movie I have ever watched.

  4. I think that the ending happen the same time as PA1. the door allowed him to go in Katie House. Because in the first one we didn’t see what happen to Micah, which provide some closure. Overall this movie was confusing I cant wait to see what happens next, Hunter was supposed to be the ultimate sacrifice. It looks like that there is army brewing for a all out war

  5. I interpreted the ending as this:

The cameraman went into the door/portal which allowed him to enter Katie/Micah’s house on another plane of existence – the fact that the camera glitches out so much when he enters the door is what gives me this impression. This is the same plane of existence that the demon resides in. This is how the witches have been haunting the previous victims.

He touched Katie’s shoulder but she didn’t react immediately – she didn’t sense his presence as a physical being. The demon startles her.

When the cameraman runs, he comes across a male demon. This is the demon from the previous movies – only we get to actually see it as we’re on the same plane of existence as it.

The witch is also present here because she is ordering the demon around to do stuff.

    I could be wrong, though.

    • the demon was jesse possesed.

  6. Saw it. Seriously liked and admired the direction of the story. Explaining that Kristi and her family’s story, while pivotal, is not isolate, but in fact part of a bigger plot effecting many people. One of the more interesting points of the marked ones was With the peripheral character Oscar. He, in a daze of clinging to the last of his humanity, tells the main character that they have both been marked, that “she put it in (me)… Like she put it in you.” and most unsettlingly goes on to explain that “the only way to stop it is to kill yourself… Kill yourself before you hurt somebody you care about.” which is what he proceeds to do himself. The way that Oscar’s story was attached to the root plot of the marked ones I don’t doubt seeing the rest of his story told from the beginning upto his showdown with Anna, and most disturbing, what horrible things he must have done between killing her and killing himself to make him give Jesse such a horrifyingly accurate warning of where their common possessions would lead if unchecked. I have always said that the paranormal activity movies offer much more individually as contributions to a very unique, original, I and ambitious saga than they do as stand alone projects. Be that as it may, This film was loads of fun.

  7. Are all the paranormal Activity movies connected in some way??

  8. my wife and I saw it last night – really liked it. we o for the thrills and like the story or piecing it together but we are not full on into it like some trying to assess the consistency of he story line. I love that the movie all ties in, and for 80 of the 84 minutes, it wouldn’t really matter if you had seen the first 4, but the movie would make no sense in the last 4 minutes if you hadn’t seen the first instalment. PA5 had more action than scares, but much like the first PA, once all the characters were developed, the last 30 minutes had plenty of thrills… the cellar sequence with the 2 white girls was amazing, jesse being hoisted into the air as a demon in front of his family was amazing, and the horrible last scenes in the witches house were just as frightening as PA 4….really liked PA5 – my advice: watch them all, don’t compare them, be grateful that we see a new instalment each summer, and pray for more…..
