The only way I could see them doing sequels for this or Cloverfield is if police or FBI found the videos and investigated and stuff, but that wouldn't use the POV camera technique and it just wouldn't be all that interesting. It would turn into a mystery/crime story instead of horror

I haven't seen any Saw films or Paranormal Activity, but I heard how it ended... And how could they possibly do a sequel?? The world doesn't need Paranormal Activity 2 and the world surely does not need Saw VII (3D)

I honestly don't know what to think of this.

PA wasn't scary. I don't think it even really tried to be. But what is was, was genuinely creepy. The atmosphere that they were able to build with each progressing night scene was fantastic, and I just don't think it's something that can be done again, especially not by this guy.

But my real problem with this, and it's the same problem I have with the Cloverfield sequel, is that there's no logical way to incorporate the handheld-camera gimmick into the second one without it feeling even more contrived than it was the first time. If they pick up where the first one ended, than the can't do the homemade thing again, and if they just retread the same ideas with a different couple, or perhaps a whole family, then what's really the point?

I think it would be good to see a PA2, because i may only be 14 but i have seen a lot of movies, and know a little bit about a few, but to see a second PA might be an experience because the first one had a little bit too much drama, of time spent in between, trying to decide what they should do, and not enough scary night scenes. I honestly want to see how this one plays out.
