Today we have a pair of brand new photos for Michael Bay’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The first image focuses on main characters Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes and the second photo is a very cool shot of Optimus Prime, heroic leader of the Autobots.
The Sam and Mikaela (played by Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox) image depicts the couple riding a motorcycle. Fox’s character apparently works at a bike shop in this film and I’m guessing this will have something to do with how we’re introduced to the Arcee character who takes the form of a motorcycle (or several).

Next up is Optimus Prime posing for combat. You can see that he has one of his arm-swords out for this fight (something he forgot about during his final battle with Megatron in the first Transformers). From the trailer, it looks like he’s in the same little valley where he was getting pummeled and tossed around by what looks like Blackout (who was seemingly destroyed in the first film) and some other large Decepticons.

Only I miss that is in the comics but not in the movies is how you could tell what kinda vehicle they were while in robot mode. It was easy to tell that Jazz was a Porsche and Starscream was a jet. It’s a minor complaint though, I’m just saying.

Ok that pic of Optimus Prime is just bad ass and I definitely wish I was Shia in that pic.
I hope Prime will do more ass-kicking this time around. I hated how one moment he was bad-ass by decapitating Bonecrusher, then against Megatron he gets slapped around like a wimp.
And I don’t know whether I’d want to be Shia or the motorcycle in that pic o_O
I really hope that Prime doesn’t die in this film….I mean every trailer we see hes getting his ass kicked….just hoping b/c the animated film was ruined(for me) when Prime was killed off just to bring in that loser hotrod.
