  1. That Jaws/Pacific Rim poster made me think about how far special effects technology has evolved in the time since 1975. It’s quite incredible.

Spielberg was working with a mechanical shark that kept sinking and now directors can do things like have giant robots swing ships at a monster’s face.

Jaws is one of the best summer movies ever. Hopefully Pacific Rim can get a spot on that list too.

  2. And behold, yet again, one more d*mn R2-D2 cake…

  3. What is that about those cakes all the time? Is this like a fetish?

  4. I guess I’m the only one that likes the cakes…

    I wish I could make a cake that looked like R2-D2 :/

  5. Great Scott indeed! They created a paradox that will destroy the universe. If he runs himself over he will not be able to travel back in time and run himself over. We’re doomed!

  6. The R2 cake was labelled N1134. Really Should have been THX1138.

  7. My son has a few of those poncho blankets. He has Spidey, Hulk, and Batman.

  8. love that pacific rim photo man

  9. That Pixar video is nice. They somehow forgot to mention that their “stories, stories, stories” are not as good anymore. Maybe they need to take a break rethink their strategy, becacuse the are becoming more and more generic. Monsters University didn’t deny that fact.

  10. LMAO @ “Priuses don’t go that fast.”

Even 66mph is a bit of a stretch for those little pieces of… um, for those cars… ;-)
