Caramba Vic,

Eh serio que voce fala portugues?

Sou do Brasil e estou vivendo aqui faz dois anos ja. Me perdoe pela falta de acentuacao, mas o meu teclado nao suporta.

Muito legal saber se for verdade.

Grande Abraco,

Larry

@Ray O

Well it’s a very “niche” movie – hard to get a distribution deal sometimes. Look at all the great movies at Sundance that never make it to theaters.

Vic

@Larry Rocha

Yup, it’s true. My typing isn’t up to speed, though. :-)

Bom Saber,

On another note. I am kinda pissed I will have to wait for a Dvd release to see this since I didn’t see Denver on your list. Maybe the European Dvd is out already? Any news?

Thanks and bom trabalho,

Abracos,

Larry

siiiick san diego gets a showing i’m there!

@Larry

I believe it’s still playing in theaters overseas? Also, I was just informed it may open in additional cities not mentioned in the list above.

Hey Vic what about Pueto Rico

bpg131313 says:

I’m here in Seattle and if I can get some free time, I’ll go see it. Looks like it’ll be a good one, in my opinion.

@JBREX

No idea, bud.

AD says:

Yeah, I was told that it is getting to more cities, But this list is just the initial release, so that’s where you’ll see it on the 23rd. Beyond that, how many cities and for how long will depend on you and me and everyone else getting people to go see it.

Ken J says:

Woot, Miami, FL. I’m there.

steven the git says:

I’ve just had a look. The dvd is on a website I use to buy movies a lot, but says coming soon. So it seems to have been put together, just not distributed yet.

Can’t wait.

I have been following Outlander for awhile as well. I’d love to sit down and watch it after what I have seen of the film. Looks badass. Wish it were coming to CT.

ZAR says:

This “alien ship” actually looks like a ship from the movie ALIEN. Oh, well, original designs (and ideas) are rare these days…

Let’s just hope it alle makes sense – or at least fun – in the end.

ZAR.

Ken J says:

Well, what if that is simply the ideal design for a ship to operate at an optimum level? So that’s why ships look the same from movie to movie?? ;-)

LOL, just kidding dude.

Jim Dorey says:

Yeah – I am really upset that it won’t be a true wide release, because I am in it! Yours truly is a background viking. Awesome time – spoke with Hurt at length. Don’t forget Ron Perlman is in this thing too!! :-)

Rob Keyes says:

I really f-ing want to see this movie.

WIDE release, please!

Pink Dahlia says:

Harvey Weinstein’s an idiot, I mean doesn’t it have the most openings in Dallas, didn’t know the Texans were so into genre action adventure films ……and as far as “niche” movie, sure, but with such ‘niche ” actors as John Hurt, Ron Perlman, Jim Caviezel, doesn’t seem so “niche” to me…….

ZAR says:

@Ken J:

You’ve got a point there!

There are not too many designers in the industry that do those designs.

Take Ron Cobb and Syd Mead in the 80s for example. No wonder OUTLAND, BLADE RUNNER and ALIEN have a lot in common.

Same thing with Ken Adam in the Bond movies.

I also remember seeing GOLDENEYE for the first time and they had those great models there. At one point I was thinking to myself, well, these look a lot like Gerry Anderson’s stuff – or better: his designer’s Derek Meddings.

And ta-da… he was the man behind them. ;)

ZAR.

I’ve seen it Vic! It’s good.

Anuman9 says:

Wow!! AWESOME movie. A perfect blend of the future meets the past, Aliens vs. Vikings and a great cast that pulled everything together.This should have been in theaters! Something must have went wrong with it’s distribution company because this should have crawled theaters in the US!
