The Best Director nomination was more possible than Best Picture, if any of the two had to happen. I’m baffled as to why you would think the opposite.

Thats a bit of a pisser. But in all fairness, I really could careless about the academy awrds, until they expand their catagories to include comedy films and actors.
Dissapointing, but again, who gives a crap about the acedem awards

Listing names on a cue sheet is mainly for ASCAP and BMG, it’s just so everyone gets paid. I think it’s important to point out that it’s not all about the awards. Assembling the five names was probably for the purpose of the soundtrack and not driven by Academy Awards.
