Rejected Pitches: Die Hard

Action Movies are supposed to have action in them.

At Toy FairHasbro had blocky KRE-O Kirk, Spock, Scotty, and others from Star Trek Into Darkness on hand, including villain THE SPECIALIST? They showed off blocky version of the aforementioned characters from the upcoming flick. One of the most intriguing bits of info we got from these killer KRE-O’s – aside from the lovely, glowy, effervescent LIGHTTECH on some of the vehicles – is the inclusion of Borg in the new line! Does that mean, the baddies are somehow assimilating themselves into J.J. Abrams’ film? Find out in our video tour of the KRE-O booth!

  1. Whistle Blow that Jew was hilarious.
Also on the Academy Awards poster, which movie is the one where the statue is missing?

  2. It might be A Beautiful Mind. Crowe’s character was seeing things that were not really there. That is my guess … anyone else?

  3. That tribute to Chris Nolan is very cool

  4. Does anyone actually find these “rejected movie pitches” videos funny? I think they’re pretty terrible. They would be funny if they made fun of movies that are ACTUALLY terrible.

    • @Robert W

Uh… I think you completely missed the point with those… They are not “making fun” of any of the moves they show. They are intentionally picking GOOD movies. They are more making fun of the three movie studio execs. It’s kind of like saying these guys had these missed opportunities because they had these completely stupid criticisms and ideas about these movies… I don’t get how you can’t tell they intentionally pick good movies… Most of their “criticisms” are actually what makes the movie good…

  5. The discription for the Gandalf pic was epic.

  6. Haven’t seen the new Die Hard yet, but that McClay video might just be more awesome

  7. Between two Ferns was hilarious in the end. The first half or so was okay I wish Zach can vary a bit more but the end with him and Bradley was perfect!
