From what I can remember, there’s only one dove (unless he shoe horned another one in to the two parter), but trust me when I say, all the doves from his other movies were building up to this one.

Hey any (Doctor Who) fans that haven’t seen the latest Dvd release, “Doctor Who, The Next Doctor”, (it was BBC’s 2008 Christmas Special) should go out and pick it up yesterday on Dvd,,!
Wow they spent some money on this one!
The episode was fracken awesome and could have been a stand alone (major motion picture) film,,, its a great Christmas gift !!!

This story doesn’t focus on the new Doctor that’s coming up, its about our fav Doctor (Tennant) who meets up with another Doctor in 1851. They take on the Cybermen and its kick ass time!!!

The bonus feature is a 1 hour long “Live at the Proms” show that was almost better then the episode. It was basically an amazing extremely well produced concert of the shows music, held for the fans of Doctor Who, filmed (with at least 10 cameras) at the Royal Albert Hall in london,,,

The show was intermixed with extremely well produced characters from the show (Daleks, Cybermen, Ood’s) as well as a brilliantly filmed part from the Doctor himself (Tennant) that steals the entire show,,, !!!

Totally worth the 12:99 price.
I give the Dvd a 10 out of 10 !!!
Just drop what your doing right now and order it on Amazon!!!

Awesome time for us Doctor Who fans!!!!

I was watching ” the naked gun trilogy” this past sunday… Don’t know why, i guess i just wanted to see it. Whilst i was watching my wacky mind got its motors running and started thinking of another movie i would like to see in this sort of slap stick form only a lil bit more focused on the actual story though. It would be a video game adaptation as well, All the way from the NES ( nintendo)… ” Mike Tyson’s Punch Out”. It could actually have Tyson in it since he is clearly open for comedies ( the hangover) and someone who could get in shape and have the comedic chops for it to go against him and all the other characters in said game. Maybe even have a “R” rating and findout the backstory to the coaches pink sweatsuit ( maybe stole it from his favorite stripper). Maybe it was just what i was feeling while i was watching the naked gun but still it got me curious to see a movie like that. As a lil extra tidbit when the final match comes that tyson is being presented as the champion… A kanye look-alike grabs the mic and says ” before you finish i just wanted to say that ali was the greatest cham-” Tyson knocks him out before he finishes…lol.

Haven’t got to Red Cliff yet, dag blasted thunderstorms here in atlanta knocked out power until 5 min ago. I got the Two parter so I’ll try to give a dove count .

Though Im sure that the number of doves is no where near as insane as in his game Stranglehold.

Has anyone caught the new Leno show yet? I wanted to watch it the other night, but I forgot all about it because I was watching the baseball game. 15 million viewers is a good audience. I like Leno, but I am torn on whether or not I want this to succeed. I think that if it succeeds, it’s going to be a crimp on quality, scripted shows because it’s much cheaper to make the Jay Leno Show than it is to make Heroes or Chuck. That would suck. There is already enough garbage out there with all the reality shows and to bring even more stuff like that would seriously make me read even MORE than I do already. On the other hand, Jay is a pretty funny guy and I always enjoyed his show at 11:30 (MUCH more so that Conan.) Oh well, we shall see how this goes.

Also I think Cirqe the freak: the Vampires assistant ,may be a funny and diffrent vampire movie.

I saw Red Cliff a few months back (albeit the abridged version, not the two parter) and yes, there is certainly a dove… a fairly memorable one.

It’s a good movie, I’d recommend it.

Crank 2 = More crap than Crank. Only good thing about it was that Amy Smart ate a few slices of bread to even out her body.

reminds me of Angels and Demons without the religion.
crazy science , mysterious plot, that sort of thing .
Right, now there is a minimum of symbols for Langdon to translate but I think that shall soon change.

I thought The Lost Symbol dealt with Washington, DCs traffic patterns being in the shape of some religious symbol? This isn’t the premise?

There is a vampire movie coming out dealing with vampires being the majority and need to either figure out how to cure themselves or find another food supply because humans are about to be extinct. It has a great cast and looks promising.

I thought the first Crank was OK but hated the second. Suspending disbelief is one thing but I just felt Crank 2 just went totally off the deep end. I was very disgusted.

There is a limit though. Personally I loved Crank 2, but I can understand why, with certain movies, people have a much harder time suspending their disbelief.

Transformers 2 are actually a prime example. People are perfectly able to accept that transforming aliens from another world could exist in the universe put forth by the movie… what they can’t generally accept is that said mechanical aliens would also have testicles for no apparent reason. Or that they’d age in a way that would cause them to use walking sticks and grow beards… and so on and so forth.

The Crank films on the other hand… those are really “turn your brain off and enjoy” films, nothing more. Godzilla sequence? Sure, why not. Sex in the middle of a race track, yeah, happens every day right?

That is funny about ‘suspending their belief’ when it comes to the Crank films. It is about a guy running on an artificial heart having to electrocute himself to keep on going.
You mean to tell me that there is actually a guy out there like that? Yeah, just like there are transforming robots in a planet called Cybertron a million light years away from our planet. Come on, audiences are funny in their thinking.

I loved the 70s pastiche near the end and the godzilla-esque sequence had me in tears. A lot of people couldn’t get into it though, just couldn’t suspend their disbelief enough I guess.
