Did anyone read about the Batman costume is gonna have the yellow emblem again in Batman 3? Plus about Piranha 3D, Is Richard Dreyfuss’s character Matt Hooper from Jaws or Matt boyed as credited in the movie?

LP is keeping quiet about the film. There was that shirt that was given out at Comic-con with the concept art on it, but nothing else. I have heard that Tim Burton is producing the film though.

Well, that’s only speculation. Nothing is official on the film, other than it’ll be in 3-D.
I like Tim Burton, but not doing Godzilla. I’d LOVE to see Steven Speilberg or Peter Jackson do a proper Godzilla movie and make it epic. Jurassic Park meets King Kong, now THAT would be awesome!! I did enjoy the Matthew Broderick film, but that wasn’t a REAL Godzilla movie! (Although Hank Azaria was great in it.)

Oh, and I definitely voted for flight on the current poll. Superstrength and teleportation would be cool, but nothing like being able to soar above the clouds!!

LOL, but teleported would also save more time. Flight would still take you a while. Teleporting would get you there almost instantly.

Anybody e er read “perdido street station”? I think that would make an awsome movie. I highly recomend it.
I love the idea, but it would be a she-dog to visualize.
I would rather see Mieville pin a shorter story with a narrower scope, but in the same setting, and then see if any studio was able to make that work.
Yeah he’s a great writer. I can see lynn and montle being hard to develop visually.

Apple TV…..renting TV shows…hmmm, good idea? isnt that what netflix, and blockbuster is for, not to mention Hulu doesnt charge..they have an upgrade that costs but they arent forcing that on anyone yet. seems like Apple wants to monopolize multimedia

Also I noticed you and 790 are both Stevie Wonder fans. That’s great I love Stevie. I’ve got every album and listen to at least one song from him every day. He is among my top three artists of all time. He’s amazing. I’ve seen him perform with an awesome set up of multiple instruments and he would be able to switch from one to another with out fail. That’s amazing for anyone and even more impressive from a blind man. For once in my life and Superstition are two of my faves.

I read an article where major broadcast networks want the Emmy’s split into two different telecasts because they’re tired of HBO winning all the awards with their longform. Because HBO spends the money to produce quality work like “Temple Grandin” and “The Pacific” they should have their own telecast so shows that millions of people watch (ie: “American Idol,” “Survivor,” “Dancing with the Stars”) can get more recognition.
Opponents to the split say that the major broadcasters should just do longer formats and produce some quality work. The major broadcasters advocating the split are from ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX: the Big Four.

I personally love the format that Starz recently used for “The Pillars of the Earth.” One book, eight episodes, no commercials, filled with character development and amazing actors. It’s all about quality and risks – - something the major broadcast networks are severely lacking.

i liked the story a lot. Stephen Lang was a hardass lol. i really dont like Worthington.good thing cammy hired a bunch of top notch CGI men/women, they all deserve the credit for that film. was funny, when Lang was talking to Worthless, err Worthington in the hanger bay and got into the mechanized robot and started swinging, i know thats how the two men would square off in the end. all in all i liked the story
Michelle Rodriquez’ character was pretty cool too, she didnt annoy me like she does in some of her other movies lol
I saw the first 30 minutes and then turned it off, but to each his own.
