  1. ROOOMMMEEEE, What is happening with Rome?!?!?!?!?!?

*takes deep breath* Ok, sorry, um, anyone got the scoop?? ;-)

  2. Can’t believe that “Trick r Treat” didn’t hit theaters yet “Jennifer’s Body ” did… ah well i got to see it today and it was awesome(trick r treat not jennifer’s body). I also heard that the “Night of Demons” remake sucked really bad. Hopefully “law abiding citizen” is really good.

  3. ditto on law abiding citizen. :-)

  4. Hopefully Paranormal Activity can stay in theaters in the Houston area until next friday, so I can see it.

Also I want Captain America to be cast already. I mean they can at least let us know who it is down to.

  5. @ Vic and the gang at screen rant

The site is looking great, keep up the good work.

  6. I’m still excited for Where The Wild Things Are, and hopefully I can get the chance to see Toy Story 1 & 2 in 3D. I heard the 3D was extremely good, has anyone seen it?

  7. I’ve seen Toy Story in 3D (they split the movies up here in the UK, likely because they want to make more money). It was very well done, not obnoxious “stuff flying out at you” 3D, but the more subtle kind where it really does nothing more than add a layer of depth.

As someone who never saw Toy Story at the cinema, it was a good experiance for me.

    @everyone

Anyone see House this week? I really enjoyed it (and I haven’t had a chance to check yet, but that was definately James Earl Jones as the evil dictator, yes?).

  8. Loving this new show called “Bored to Death” well good
HBO is king also finally got all the seasons of “OZ” the other day man I forget how vicious this show really was I strongly recomend it,
Although its not for the faint hearted

  9. That makes me want to see it even more. I’m not sure I ever saw it in the theater either, but that’s odd that they split the 2 films apart in the UK.

Also, speaking of TV shows… I’m really enjoying Parks and Recreation this season and I’m beginning to like that new show Community as well.

  10. I’m sure this would have been posted if it was known, but maybe I missed it… Is there a release date for an Iron Man 2 trailer? I figure Thanksgiving. Christmas at the latest…

  11. Is it hard for anyone else to take “The Vampire’s Assistant” seriously with the god-awful looking main bad guy? I mean he looks like a freakin’ clown to me (hair, make-up , etc.)

  12. TY BBC America for rerunning Torchwood, caught season three and was impressed, now starting to get all the previous episodes under my belt. TY for letting others late to the show get caught up.

  13. @zipper stevens

I don’t think anyone’s announced a release date for the first trailer (though I was thinking about this the other day). If anyone would know, it’d likely be Favreau, so following him on Twitter seems like it’d be a good idea.

    @INK

I saw the trailer for “The Vampires Assistant” the other day and… okay so to me it looked like a kids film. Like a really small kids film that not even parents would enjoy. I don’t know too much about it, perhaps it does take itself a bit more seriously than that, but yeah, I’m not going to see it, it does look bad.

  14. I’m in season 4 of Supernatural and loving it. Don’t know how they will continue the series if Lucifer is defeated this season, which looks like what’s going to happen.

  15. @The Pitt Man

    Thanks, bud.

    Vic

  16. @Kahless
you mean the 5th? because lucifer isnt in the 4th (possible a spoiler? nah:p) well im in the 5th and im loving it! and i dno if the show is supposed to go on anymore, isnt it the last season?

anyone watching dexter? i think this season will really hit the.. well i think it will be extremely good, i’ve watched the first two episodes and i enjoyed it a lot! looking forward to the next ones;)

  17. @ Ken J

So I finally saw this Ip Man(Yip Man) you have talked about. Good movie. Reminded me of a combination of Fighter in the Wind, Fist of Legend, and Fearless, I laughed my ass off when the General was getting the WIng CHun beat down. Its definitely a must see for martial arts fans who believe in the old school films that showed the technique over the flashy wire workThe dove count so far is at one for Red CLiff though it maybe more as I always seem to wake up or fall alseep on that part with the dove(s) in question.

  18. @Magnus … Well, I’m really enjoying Dexter a lot, and it looks like this season is shaping up to be the show’s most interesting one yet.

@defadge … I admit that I was a bit skeptical about Bored To Death, but after watching the first couple of episodes, I’m loving every minute of it.

I’m able to catch up w/both shows with video on demand, which is a big help.

@Vic … loving the website. Keep up the great work. :-)

  19. INK: I saw a large clip of Vampire’s Assistant and it looked horrible. I wanted to see it because the beautiful Ray Stevenson is in it, and while they do show about 1/2 second of him, the rest of the movie looks really bad.

Ken J: I’m with you: WHAT ABOUT ROME?????

DeFadge: loving Bored to Death also.

Once again, this season’s SONS OF ANARCHY is a real edge of your seat, nail-biter.

Can’t wait to see Law Abiding Citizen. The more Gerard the better! Wish he’s team up with Ray Stevenson, but them I’d have to have the smelling salts with me!

  20. @Magnus
I do mean the 4th; I have seen the first couple of episodes of this season and do know who has arrived, that’s why I said what I said. I’m trying to catch up.

  21. @SIN

LOL, yah, I love how the General kept drumming on about how superior Japanese martial arts are to the Chinese, yet, not only does this one guy take on 10 of their martial artists, he then goes up against their “top dog” and we saw how that ended, lol.

And I’m surprised Red Cliff only has one dove, maybe it’s costing too much for him to get the doves he wants, lol.

  22. @Ken

From what I remember, Red Cliffe probably had the most expensive dove of Woo’s career. It may just be one dove, but it is epic… much like the rest of the film.

  23. Wow, I must youtube this epic dove, haha.

  24. I swear if Woo doesn’t do a slow motion ninja dove in his next movie, I’m walking out.

  25. I think if he can get the white dove to wear a trenchcoat and sunglasses he would…

  26. I feel so out of the loop since I had to cut down my cable… I haven’t even heard of Bored to Death. I have missed 3 seasons on Supernatural along with Smallville and who knows what else.

    Damn this economy to hell!!!

  27. “Damn this economy to hell!!!”

    Too late.

  28. The big three (Cap, Thor and IM) are reuniting for the first time in years to take down the Dark Avengers in Marvel’s upcoming “Siege” mini series….

    Hells yeah, baby!!!

  29. If you haven’t seen the film “Children of Men” go out and rent, borrow, pirate, buy, or happen to get a free copy from your friend at Universal,,,,,

    See the film !!!
