    hey dude kind of offensive seeing you dressed as a native...
  • Ken J
    Well being a pilgrim would be too boring...
  • @angry

    It's Thanksgiving - Pilgrims, Indians, turkey... I've had this as an avatar on Twitter for over a week and nothing but compliments.

    If I've raised the ire of a member of the army of the politically correct, then I've done my job. 8)

  • Ken J
    Maybe he's saying you should be the turkey, lol.
  • angry
    wow a bigot as well proud to offend....you are a true hipocrite you are offended by movies with violence, sex and drug use but yet you are proud to offend the true americans. well done....
  • I'm not offending anyone except within the confines of your mind.

    Vic
  • Ken J
    Come on, I'm sure the turkeys are not reading screenrant...

    Oh, you're talking about him and the American Indians, oops. :-P
  • it must be wonderful to spend time being upset by a clear spoof avatar done in spirit of the season as opposed to being upset at things of actual importance.
    BTW: Im loving his lack of avatar.
  • Warning: My Christmas avatar may be offensive to those of Elvish descent.

    Vic
  • the_old_man
    Hey Vic; Next year put a turkey under your arm with movie written all over it. Surely theirs a celluloid gobbler running this season, and next season, and the one after that...
  • Ken J
    Eh, some people can't take a joke...
  • johnny-k
    I am from Norway, where we don´t celebrate thanksgiving, but in the spirit of the holiday. why don´t we go around the table and give thanks for the movies and Tv shows we are thankful for?

    I give thanks for The Batman, Iron Man and Hulk. May all future comic book movies be as good as these. I also give thanks for Stargate Universe, do it might be slow and boring at times, it is good to have a Stargate show active on Tv. I would also like to give thanks for the V series, it is good to see the lizard people trying once again to eat everyone. I give thanks smallville for giving us a decent season, hopefully giving us the full on real JSA experience.
  • @Johnny K

    Great idea!

    I'm thankful to all of YOU who visit on a regular basis and contribute to our lively discussions - and I'm thankful to my awesome editors and writers who do a fantastic job keeping the site running day after day.

    Non-movie-related: Thankful for my wife and daughter of course... and on a side note, thankful that the recently discoverd blood clot in my leg has been (hopefully) caught in time before it does any serious damage.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

    Vic
  • Just wanted to annoy everyone by saying, I went to see New Moon last night. And rather enjoyed it, with the exception of a few stupid scenes and dumb lines, I definitely prefered it to Twilight.

    But hey, I contributed my money to the massive Twilight Saga juggernaut that is raging through the worlds bo office, and Im proud!
  • Aknot
    Well my first Turkey day here... funny I was going to poke at vic "just cause" with regards to the avatar.

    Im thankful for being able to "see" both sides to most discussions.

    Movie wise I mimic JohnnyK, I even enjoyed the latest Punisher. However the debacle that was Wolverine.....

    And thankful for the venue here that is provided and supported by the reviewers, admin, designers, supporters and visitors etc.
  • Aknot
    ooo I do have a question.. How do we inquire or post an inquiry about an upcoming movie?

    Meaning I want to know if there is any more news/pics/updates etc to The Last Airbender. Would I "bump" a dedicated page http://screenrant.com/the-last-airbender-update... with no activity for almost a month? Send an email? Post here?

    Thanks
  • Yeah, I live in the UK, so no Thanksgiving for us but I love the idea of giving thanks for movie and TV stuff.

    I will be giving my thanks to;

    Smallville, what a season.

    JJ Abrams, for bringing back Star Trek in such a fantastic way.

    And I think we should all give thanks to George Lucas, he has given us all so much.
  • The Pitt Man
    Here in Canada our thanksgiving comes much earlier, probably because the English settled in Newfoundland before the pilgrims even set sail.

    regardless, I'm thankful for the career of the late Patrick Swayze, my finally owning the whole Married... with Children Series, J.J. Abrams' Star Trek, and lastly,

    @Vic

    For Screen Rant. It's a great escape anytime in the day. Thanks gang!
  • INK
    I give thanks for family, friends and politically incorrect avatars.

    The sad thing is, when I first saw it I thought uh-oh, Vic's gonna catch some hell. Race baiters are so predictable.
  • greenknight333
    @ Vic

    I'm native and was a little offended by the avatar upon initial presentation...I'll get over it :) because after reading the comments I was LMAO and realize it was in spirit of the holiday and not some poorly thought out gimmick..can't wait for the Christams Avatar..ELves beware..
  • greenknight333
    I am thankful for my three little boys, my lovely wife, living in Canada and all the great things that we have been blessed with...Thank you Great SPirit!!
  • strich
    wow, i'm amazed that there were more posts of people complaining about Vic being an indian. buncha women.

    i'm thankful for my family, that i have a job and that i can still enjoy films and tv. occasionally.

    hang in there Vic, we'll be praying for your speedy recovery.
  • @DrSamBeckett

    Didn't really expect a different reaction from you to New Moon. :)

    @Aknot

    We have a handy Contact page on the site. :) Or you can ask here (there've been no new developments of note on the film).

    @Greenknight

    Thanks, it was TOTALLY in the spirit of the holiday and meant to be fun. No offense intended (other than to politically correct hyper-sensitive types). 8)

    @stritch

    Thanks, I'm hanging in there, bud.

    Vic
  • piratedan
    juts a simple thank you to all.....for helping to make the site what it is.
  • I'd also like to say that I will no longer be ripping on Avatar!
  • Docktorwu
    You don't have to be Politically Correct, race baiter or a right wing kool-aid drinker to not like the avatar. I'm none of those things and I don't like it but who cares. What I like is this site and I like the PC folks The kool-aid drinkers and the race baiter's. My only hang up is the Twilight folks, but I'm working on it.
  • Has anyone seen this video about fans getting tricked into a "Vampire Intervention":

    http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/35358066cc/twi...
  • @Docktorwu

    Can't please everyone. :)

    Vic
  • M-Cat
    DrSam

    I am very disappointed in you. nuff said.
  • @Joshi

    Yeah, I found the part where it said, "Twilight fans are the dumbest people on the planet" to be mean, and this is coming from someone who hates Twilight.
