  1. Did anyone see immortals this weekend and how was it. And is it worth it in 3d

    • I didn’t see it in 3D but the film was OK; not as good as 300 but better than Sucker Punch.

      • Not as good as 300, but better than Sucker Punch? That sounds pretty awful then.

    • Just watched it and…. it was awesome! ๐Ÿ˜€

      — I will admit, it’s not the best trailer I’ve seen this year, but I have very little doubt left that this movie will bomb. The Hunger Games is going to be great IMO.

Twilight can suck it, THIS will be the franchise to replace Harry Potter.

      • *Should clarify:
I didn’t mean to say that The Hunger Games will “REPLACE” HP (nothing can replace HP -IMO), what I meant to say was: “The Hunger Games will be the franchise that’ll fill in the gap left by HP” (now that they aren’t making anymore HP movies).

  2. Looks okay Rickster..don’t know the source material though..

  3. Is anyone reading Kick-@$$ 2 ? The last issue turned me from MArk Millar’s writing style..

    *********SPOILER ALERT *********
When Red Mist guns down that group of children and then states that there are four less people to watch "iCarly"..I thought the violence did nothing to advance the story and that it was written that way for shock value only..

    • It does make you hate him that much more, and when hit-girl hears about that, wouldnt you love to see those two fight? I know I would ๐Ÿ˜€

Dont know, but maybe it will advance the story, you just dont know how yet?

    • Iยดve read the first three issues, but I was annoyed that issue 4 was delayed for so long. I even kinda forgot about it…

  4. Any one have any thoughts on last nights episode of the walking dead or hell on wheels.

    • I am slowly becoming more and more tired of Walking Dead. It almost at Heroes level where i am watching it out of habit.

Im deathly tired of the farm and I dont care at all if the girl is dead or alive. I just want plot progression. I love the character study aspect of the show but now its like they are all slowly becoming retarded.

When the blonde chick shot the sniper rifle, I just thought you are an idiot. Yes I know she did it because she got tired of people of telling her what to do and wanted to feeyl useful but you’re an idiot. Ol Man Farmer, your host, has publically displayed his dislike of guns. There were three people in your line of fire. Gunshots attract more zombies.

It was a stupid ploy. And Ol Man Bucket hat wants to tell her “its ok, no big deal.” WTF. Morons I tell you.

    • Andrea is an idiot and im really hoping it all hits the fan hard with ricks wife being pregnant. Other than that im curious to know why the zombies were in the barn. Also I really wish rick would stop imposing on staying at the farm. Can’t he see they’re being a major burden??

  5. Question. What is your favorite Western films?

Im going with Unforgiven, A FistFull of Dollars and Joe Kidd. I know, i know there all Eastwood films lol.

    • Young Guns is my favorite western.

    • That’s a tough one. I really enjoyed Red River, Unforgiven, Tombstone, My Name is Nobody, Hang Em’ High, and High Plains Drifter (among other Eastwood westerns) but I would have to go with Tombstone (with Unforgiven a very very close 2nd).

      • High Plains Drifter was awesome… I love how he just did whatever the heck he wanted, and then when he made the midget the sheriff…Classic!

        • High Plains Drifter was def a great one.

        • “I never heard of the Lago Volunteers”

“Well you ought to…you’re in it!”

          Clint is tha’ man!

    • I would have to say my top 5 would be somthing like:
      4)Outlaw Josey wells
      2)High Noon
      1)The Magnificent Seven

      • The Outlaw Josey Whales
        My Name is Nobody
        The Cowboys

      • Josey Wales was dope. Magnificent Seven was awesome. Had the man Yul(sp) in it looking very boss.

    • What is your favorite Western films?

      “Back to the Future III”

      • LOL what about Blazing Saddles, Maverick, or Wild Wild West

        • Please tell me you didn’t put Wild Wild West in the same sentence as Blazing Saddles and Maverick??!!

          • On, wait a second, I just put it in the same sentence. Opps! ๐Ÿ˜€

            • I know. I can’t believe I did that either. Wild Wild West was on an entire different level of epic awesomeness.

What was that sarcastic emoticon again 8)

    • Shane and High Noon.
Alan Ladd and Gary Cooper are the best!

    • I would have to say in no particular order

      Young guns
The good the bad and the ugly
      Legend of the lone ranger

    • Tombstone

    • Does No country For Old Men count?

    • My favorite western movie? Does Firefly count?

      • Firefly is definately a western especially with the aftermath of civil war.

I always saw No Country For Old Men as a modern day western albeit from the 80s.

    • Suprised nobody has said any more recent westerns kike Appalosa(sp), 3:10 to Yuma (or the original) & True Grit (or the original)

      • Or Cowboys vs. Aliens

  6. “Mirror, mirror on the wall…”

  7. The hunger games trailer looks really good!! I’m officially excited for this now

  8. I have a feeling that we all dislike Hollywood remakes of TV Shows and movies, but we all love to speculate on who should be cast for roles in different movies. With that said, let’s have some fun. What movie (or TV show) would you never want to get remade? But if did, who would you cast in it?

For me it would be “The Breakfast Club”

    The New Cast would be:
Jason Sudeikis as Richard Vernon (Teacher)
Aubrey Plaza as Allison Reynolds (basket case)
Michael Cera as Brian Johnson (brain)
Emma Stone as Claire Standish (princess)
Donald Glover as Andrew Clark (athlete)
Rory Culkin or Alex Pettyfer as John Bender (criminal) – I really couldn’t think of anyone who could replace Judd Nelson…these two were the best I could come up with. I’d prefer a CGI Judd Nelson.

    • Did you get the idea for Donald Glover as The Jock from last week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly?

      • I got the idea for this entire post from the Community cast pictorial. So yes, I kept Donald Glover in that role.

        • I would like a re-imaging of Fast Times at Ridgemont high so I could have a new Jeff Spicoli

          • I have a feeling it will be in the works. Some Hollywood studio rep was probably reading EW on the toilet, saw those classic 80s being parodied by the cast of Community, and decided to pitch the idea of a Porkys reboot, The Breakfast Club remake, and a Fast Times re-imagining.

    • It’s about fraking time!

  9. So with uncharted 3 out an it’s amazing it’s making me think about the movie that will someday come out. So hey guys dream cast or uncharted.

Drake- Jensen ackles or Henry cavill
Elena- Jenna Fischer after she loses her baby weight. :)
Chloe- Megan fox I think she act it with lessons. Or maybe Frieda pinto. Shed be good too.
    Sully- Liam neeson
Roman- I would say I don’t know. Lol I’m stuck.
Lazaravic- vinnie jones perfect or vin deisel.

    What do u guys think?

    • I don’t think an Uncharted movie would work (if they are already planning one, it will most likely bomb)
Thing is, the Uncharted games are already so ‘cinematic’ (and awesome ;)), that an actual feature film will NEVER compare to the game.
Also, the games/stories are pretty long, cramming all that stuff into 2hrs? Once again: it will NEVER compare to the games.

      — Just my opinion.

      • While I do see your point about the games being so cinematic but I think if done right the film can fit into the franchise more so now cuz naughty dog is over seeing the script and approved the director. I hope it doesn’t bomb but I do feel like it could. I would live to see a good uncharted film though. Especially if they can get Jenna Fischer post baby weight to play Elena. I see it as perfect casting.

  10. I would be curious to see what a modern day take on the old TV show “Space 1999″ would look like. As far as who would be on the show, I don’t know but it would seem like it would be fun. Also maybe a modern take on “The Black Hole” movie. I could see Michael Fassbender as Dr. Reinhardt. I know, he’s the go to guy right now, but to me it fits.

  11. Where’s my “The Greatest American Hero” movie? Or is it not PC to have an AMERICAN hero?

    • “Believe it or Not” I heard at one time Nathan Fillion might be involved in a reboot of the series. Not sure if it was just a rumor or if it is still in the works.

  12. I was talking about this the other day with somebody and I’d have to say it would be.

I Love Lucy with Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith as Desi and Lucy respectively and I’m thinking Debra Jo Rupp as Ethel and John Carroll Lynch as Fred. So what do you think?

Also do you think that if they make anymore video game based movies that they should either make them animated films or use motion capture to make them feel more game like? Just a thought. Let me know what you think.

  13. Ok switch John Carroll Lynch for Alan Arkin.

  14. I just watched the latest episode of Family Guy (Season 10 Episode 05: “Back to the Pilot”), and I have to say, IMO, it was the best episode of the series in a LONG time.

After Episode 3 (the episode about Quagmire’s sister), I was beginning to think the show has lost it’s touch: that episode was incredibly dark, and not in the usual, funny way — just plain distressing IMO.

Anyway, for anyone interested, I seriously recommend S10 E05.

Family Guy is back to their usual, crazy-funny self! ๐Ÿ˜€

    • I had thought that I stopped my season recording of Family Guy after Episodes 3 & 4 were just so horribly bad, but apparently I didn’t. My DVR recorded episode 5, and I decided to watch it. TheAvenger is right. It was by far the best episode of the season maybe even the last few seasons, but IMO the episodes focused solely on Stewie and Brian are usually the best. I’m not getting my hopes up for the rest of the season, but I won’t stop my season recording…yet.

  15. This is really getting annoying.
