Ok, I just watched Curious Case of Benjamin Button…

Are they serious??? This is what all of the fuss was about??? I just watched a 3-hour Forrest Gump movie with The Notebook thrown in toward the end… WTH???

There were so many times in the movie where I found myself thinking, “ok, soooo where is this movie going? Is he going to die or what? Come on…”

Just more of the “it’s everyone else’s fault but yours” mentality that is so popular now-a-days. Apparently cigarette companies put guns to everyone’s heads if they don’t smoke and get addicted…

anyone hear about this? Just think of all the movies that would automatically get an R rating… Star Wars (cantina scene), IM, Back to the Future, etc, etc,

Talking about how movies get scrutinized more than TV (it was said on another thread), why isn’t network television getting attention for this kind of stuff? I can only imagine that every movie who wants a character with a cigar will have an anti-smoking ad in the previews. Just wait…

Because Bruce is the guy who writes all those and he is overworked and underpaid.

He writes for us on the side and has to balance work and family life with trying to fit in a few articles for us. He writes very thorough reviews so he can’t spit them out in 15 minutes.

What if it’s Jason Todd then? He DID get butchered by the Joker in the comics. And it made Batman considerably darker.

Yeah w/ “The Dark Knight” making 1 billion dollars I’m positive we will get another Batman….I just hope they don’t introduce Robin in the third film…..I know he helps the character of Batman, but I personally hate Robin and only want to see him get butchered by the joker.

yeah Cookie you can totally see where the ending was probably changed after Connor was killed/survived.

Remember that they film the scenes out of order, I can see how the ending scenes in the factory/Skynet were filmed first. This would also give the CGI team enough time to get Arnolds look down. Then after the leak came out they realized the ending was going to upset “everyone” hence the Nolan rewrites.

Either way what a horrible script,,,

Thanks. McG changing ending so quickly might explain why the heart transplant scene was so full of holes. I may be wrong but don’t movies have special technical consultants to correct stuff like that?

No prob, Cookie (hope all is well btw) yeah I remember that Terminator leak set the blog sites on fire for a few weeks. It was funny to watch the Mcg Spin machine get stuck in the mud.

I’ve actually never seen a script leak have such a reaction from the studio. I have a feeling it was leaked on purpose to see what the (Terminator fans)/bloggers thought. Who knows?

I feel silly cause I remember now. I had surgery a few months back and my memories a little off.
I’m starting to believe like some of the rest of you in that McG must have never even watched T1, 2, or 3 or the sarah connor chronicles.

And what will make this worse is that production companies will still want him as a director!

O yes Cookie Garris, you can thank everyone here at Screen Rant for bashing it when it leaked online about 8 months ago.

It was then that a lot of us began to fear Mcg’s directing skills. Seems we were correct in doing so,,,,

During that debacle Mcg came out and swore “that wasn’t the ending” and it was total bs,,, trust me he said,,, ah pinche’ diablo, that guy!!!

Totally agreed on the Punisher films dude. There hasn’t been a good one yet, but at least War Zone had some punishing. My perfect Punisher movie would be like a mix between Taxi Driver, Goodfellas and Casino. Basically I wish Martin Scorsese had made a Punisher movie.
