I’m liking the new design. I do like that you added a little blurb to the new headlines. I like seeing the latest comments on the main page, too. Also loving the faster loading times.
Elf was easily my favorite role with Will Ferrell in it. I think the dude can be funny, but he really needs the right director to rein him in. Favs directed Elf, hence the great film and Ferrell at his best. I also really liked Step Brothers, but that was very VERY crude humor.
As for Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, once again, in the right role those guys are great. I.E. Stiller in “There’s Something About Mary” and “Dodgeball”, and Wilson in “Shanghai Noon.” Then there’s “Zoolander” and “Starsky and Hutch.” UGH.
Yeah the design is looking great!
@ BJ Jones, I thought you were gonna say you like Megan Fox better then Hayden Panetierre because you prefer women to little boys.
A few things about Punisher.
1. The Tom Jane Punisher isn’t the “original” Punisher since there was a Punisher movie WAY before that one by Dolph Lungdren.
2. The Tom Jane Punisher SUCKED BIG HAIRY BALLS.
-Tom Jane is about 100 pounds too light to be Punisher
-John Travolta was in it
-He probably kills like 6 people in the movie… A Punisher movie where he doesn’t even break the double digit mark?? Most of the movie was spent plotting some ridiculous plot with that gay guy, yipee… Kill some people already, geezuz
-They spend like half an hour of the movie showing him building up that car, and it lasts about 5 minutes in one scene before it’s totaled. And by the gayest villain I’ve ever seen no less.
Anyway, it was nothing like the comic, it was BORING, and just generally stupid.
3. Punisher Warzone was a pretty crappy movie, but more enjoyable than the Tom Jane Punisher for a few simple reasons:
-Ray Stevenson rocked as Frank Castle, he looked the part and acted the part.
-THEY ACTUALLY KILLED A LOT OF PEOPLE IN THAT MOVIE
It was closer to the comic, but that might have been a bad thing since it came off as overly cheesy. The villains in Warzone were horrible, they killed the movie. If they had better villains or at least made them less cheesy, it would have been ok because Stevenson was good.
So basically, Tom Jane Punisher:
Frank Castle: FAIL
Villains: FAIL
Punisher Warzone:
Frank Castle: PASS
Villains: FAIL
That’s how I rate them, lol.

Ang Lee’s Hulk: EPIC FAIL! lol
Something else I need to say. I don’t want another Batman movie. End it with “The Dark Knight”. Same thing for the Spiderman movies. End it with “Spider-Man 3″. The studios are ruining the fun out of watching our favorite comic books by producing more than 3 movies. Warner Bros need to give us a Batman vs Superman movie to solve their problem over a Batman 3 and a Superman sequel/reboot. I know I mention earlier how Spider-Man 4 needs to be made but now I’m like forget it; leave Spider-Man as a trilogy. One more thing: Halle Berry isn’t HOT anymore. Angelina Jolie is overrated; Jessica Alba is overrated; Elish Dusku is HOT and should be Black Cat in a future Spider-Man movie (not that they need to make another one). THERE. Charlize Theron is HOT.

Norton’s Hulk was just plain EPIC !!!
Loved that film!!
I thought it was ok, much better than Ang Lee’s Hulk, but it was no Iron Man. I liked how they mocked Lee’s version a little in the beginning where they had him start to say the famous line in Spanish like they did at the end of Ang Lee’s Hulk, but then instead of saying it correctly, he says “You’re making me hungry” lol
Speaking of which, I need to get the Blu Ray of that, only have the DVD right now…
Ken was there anything new on that BR Terminator 2 Skynet editon?
I haven’t had a chance to look at it actually, my video card isn’t “HDCP ready” (which is the biggest joke in the world, why the hell should I be forced to buy certain hardware when I BOUGHT the Blu Rays and Blu Ray player legally???). I was using AnyDVD for a little while just to see if everything is working before I buy a HDCP rated video card. I already ordered one, ATI 4890 1GB, once it arrives the first thing I’m going to do is check out the T2 blu ray. But from what I’ve read, it pretty much has the same special features as the Extreme and Ultimate edition DVD’s.

I personally thought the Ed Norton Hulk was a strong rival for IM. A few too many references to the 70’s TV series though. I liked the connection to Cap and the super soldier serum too.
Just thinking about it, I bought the DVD and haven’t watched it yet. Hmmm…

I disagree about Batman, there should definitely be a third movie. TDK left off with a quasi-cliffhanger and should be concluded. But yes – leave it as a trilogy. and no Spidey 4

Totally agreed on the Punisher films dude. There hasn’t been a good one yet, but at least War Zone had some punishing. My perfect Punisher movie would be like a mix between Taxi Driver, Goodfellas and Casino. Basically I wish Martin Scorsese had made a Punisher movie.
I just read about McG’s alternate ending for Salvation on Entertainment Weekly’s site. Before I give any spoilers has anyone else read about that ending? Your jaw will drop when you do!
O yes Cookie Garris, you can thank everyone here at Screen Rant for bashing it when it leaked online about 8 months ago.
It was then that a lot of us began to fear Mcg’s directing skills. Seems we were correct in doing so,,,,
During that debacle Mcg came out and swore “that wasn’t the ending” and it was total bs,,, trust me he said,,, ah pinche’ diablo, that guy!!!

I feel silly cause I remember now. I had surgery a few months back and my memories a little off.
I’m starting to believe like some of the rest of you in that McG must have never even watched T1, 2, or 3 or the sarah connor chronicles.
And what will make this worse is that production companies will still want him as a director!
No prob, Cookie (hope all is well btw) yeah I remember that Terminator leak set the blog sites on fire for a few weeks. It was funny to watch the Mcg Spin machine get stuck in the mud.
I’ve actually never seen a script leak have such a reaction from the studio. I have a feeling it was leaked on purpose to see what the (Terminator fans)/bloggers thought. Who knows?

Thanks. McG changing ending so quickly might explain why the heart transplant scene was so full of holes. I may be wrong but don’t movies have special technical consultants to correct stuff like that?
yeah Cookie you can totally see where the ending was probably changed after Connor was killed/survived.
Remember that they film the scenes out of order, I can see how the ending scenes in the factory/Skynet were filmed first. This would also give the CGI team enough time to get Arnolds look down. Then after the leak came out they realized the ending was going to upset “everyone” hence the Nolan rewrites.
Either way what a horrible script,,,
Yeah w/ “The Dark Knight” making 1 billion dollars I’m positive we will get another Batman….I just hope they don’t introduce Robin in the third film…..I know he helps the character of Batman, but I personally hate Robin and only want to see him get butchered by the joker.
What if it’s Jason Todd then? He DID get butchered by the Joker in the comics. And it made Batman considerably darker.
