It’s Wednesday again, time for our regularly scheduled open discussion post.
As usual – talk about whatever you like as long as it’s related to movies, TV or Screen Rant itself – just remember to play nice.
Around the web:

acording to her twitter acct. rose mcgowan has been cast in the new conan movie.. i guess the Red Sonja project fell through
Sometimes I find that the Blu-Ray exclusive features aren't worth it. I purposely didn't buy a player with BD-live because a) No network access in that part of the house, I mean I'm not exactly going to run an ethernet cable from the router in my office to my living room and very very few Blu-ray players have wireless capabilities and b) it seem very gimmicky to me.
But I was kind of annoyed, after buying Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs in the combo pack (Blu-Ray and DVD) that the DVD was completely bare bones, with all of the features on the Blu-Ray. I wanted both so I could watch the movie on my TV downstairs and watch the special features on my laptop since no one else would want to watch them.
good luck with that. it looks doomed at this point.
And then there's grilled insects, of course (“Insects. Low in fat, high in crunchy goodness. In the lobby now.”). No, healthy food and the moviegoing experience are mutually exclusive, I feel.
Healthy food can be very expensive. They're not stupid.
first of all I'm saying it again: PATRICK WILSON FOR CAPTAIN AMERICA!!
and also if you hate people talking in the movies then watch the movies on SLOW DAYS and not on Friday or Saturday night..even Sundays can be too busy…I went last night and saw ALICE at at the AMC by the mall at 10:40 and guess what-there were like only two other peeps in there beside me and my gf..go on the slow days, especially now with the hefty price of a movie
Why cant Gerald Butler be Steve Rogers (retorical question) xD
LOL! Not only would be fruit be good for pelting talkers with — especially those who insist on holding a long, loud conversation on the phone during the movie — it might also be good for tossing at the screen when the movie starts dragging.
Seriously, though… I would prefer that Mr. Lynton pay more attention to upgrading the quality of the films which his company dumps in our laps, rather than on what's being served at the multiplex. Sure, we got District 9, but we also had Did You Hear About The Morgans? inflicted upon us and The Bounty Hunter isn't looking much better…
I haven't gone out of my way to buy DVD over Blu-Ray, but the cost of the blu-ray discs has limited my purchase to 2 Blu-Rays since I bought my Panny in Nov: The Dark Knight and Star Trek. Although I do try to get all my Netflix discs in BR format. I can see your point, though, unless there is a TON of extras on the BR, the DVD works fine for me-especially when it's upscaled. I might change my tune when I finally get a receiver than can decode the DTS and other sound enhancements, but for now, the DVD is staying in my collection.
I think he would make a great Punisher, though, with Nolan directing.
According to an Exclusive
atThe Hollywood Reporter website,
Chris Evans has been offered the Role of Captain America .
Apparently the next move is up to Evans.

I can see the new fine print on the tickets now; Not responsible for falls from slipping on banana peels or injuries due to food fights…
