As usual – talk about whatever you like as long as it’s related to movies, TV or Screen Rant itself – just remember to play nice. simple smile Open Discussion June 29, 2012

  1. So did anyone watch Ted last night? If so is it worth it or not?

    • no. just watch family guy instead.

  2. @Vader’s 501st

How was that Tumbler close up? I didnt see any reports of a crazed fan stealing the Tumbler, so i guess our plan didnt come together, eh? lol

    • @Ignur
The tumbler was awesome!!!! They drove it in and had a police escort and everything, man that thing sounds wicked. Seeing both the tumbler and the bat-pod in person was an experience. I got a tumbler tour t-shirt and an exclusive card of the tumbler. There is also a book that’s out already called Batmobile the complete history. I need to go pick up a copy at my local bookstore. The tumbler tour was great now all I’m waiting for is July 20.

    • Link says its not working

    • link isn’t working.

  3. How did Ghost Rider: SoV go so bad? I liked the crank movies, but that script… that dialogue, that pacing, those shots… dreadful. The actual Rider looked cool, but he was rarely there. What a pity.

    • I totally agree with you the movie was so bad the only thing I liked was the look of the rider. I had high hopes for the movie but sadly I was very disappointed.

    • nic. cage.

  4. Vic,
I’m curious when we will see TASM review?

    • I can’t speak for Vic or ScreenRant, but seeing as it’s being released next Tuesday, I’m guessing then…

      • That’s what I figure but with a Tuesday release and the embargo lifted I thought there would be a chance we see it earlier than usual.

        • True about the embargo, but we usually publish our reviews on the day a film opens.

  5. So now that Katie Holmes has filed for a divorce from Tom Cruise, is it too late for her to return as Rachel in The Dark Knight?

I guess that ship has sailed (and been blown sky high), hasn’t it? :(

  6. I am currently in South Korea for work and my company, as part of a office gathering, rented out a theater to see Amazing Spiderman.

I won’t give away any spoilers but the movie was better than I expected…

    • We only get free pizza if its at night…

  7. How does people feel about a “SwampThing” reboot/remake as well as “DARKMAN” and “The Flash”???

    • The Flash? You mean movie or series, because I don’t remember a movie?

      • I remember watching the episode when the Flash fought the Trickster. Right when the climactic fight scene started, the show was interrupted by a special report where President Bush Sr. got sick while eating dinner abroad. When they returned to regular programming, all that was left were the show’s credits! :-(

  8. Finally went to go the see the Avengers, and while the whole movie was well done Tom Hiddleston really did a great job as Loki. I have always been a firm believer that a movie like this can rise or fall on the strength of its villain/antagonist, and he more than held his own as the only bad guy with any lines that had to interact with pretty much all of the lead characters at some point.

  9. 300 came on today and I discovered that Michael Fassbender was in the movie. Did not know that.

  10. Had some type of inland hurricane in the DC area Friday night. Me and my family were blessed to not have lost power but there are many people and businesses that were not so blessed. Any Eastern Coast posters affected?

    • We had some serious damage done in the Mechanicsville/Richmond, VA area but we were fortunate not to having at our place but a few limbs down.

      • I work in Vienna and had to restart my computer because of the power outage.
