As usual – talk about whatever you like as long as it’s related to movies, TV or Screen Rant itself – just remember to play nice. icon smile Open Discussion June 2, 2014

        • Glad I could help!

I can’t make a top 5 CBM list because I like so many for different reasons. But I can say that Ghostbusters is the best movie about busting ghosts.

I can easily do a worst comic book movie list…mainly because it consists of the movies I haven’t seen like Electra, Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance, Steel, and Catwoman. And of course Spider-Man 3 tops the list simply because that movie actually ruined the franchise by making the first two films seem worse. My Letterboxd review sums up my feelings on this abomination.

          SPIDER-MAN 3
“The finale to Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy. The first two movies set up a narrative to have an epic conclusion between Harry and Peter in this third act of the trilogy…it doesn’t happen, instead we get amnesia and dancing.”

    • My Top 5

      1) X-Men: Days of Future Past
      2) Man of Steel
      3) The Dark Knight
      4) Captain America: The Winter Soldier
      5) X-Men: United

      • Dang it! I knew I should’ve seen X-M:DOFP before making the list!

Good list, Joshua. CA:TWS was so much fun, and Ledger scared the heck out of me as the Joker. I really enjoyed MOS and hope I’ll receive it for Father’s Day. (Hiya, kids! Hint, hint!)

    • Long day… and for some reason this OD was posted yesterday LOL.

      No particular order either.

      1. Watchmen
      2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
      3. MIB (Trilogy. I like them all equally)
      4. Man of Steel
      5. X-Men: DoFP

    • Great list.
      Here’s mine.

      1. Captain America The Winter Soldier
      2. Iron Man 3
      3. The Avengers
      4. The Dark Knight
      5. The Amazing Spider Man 2

Honorable mentions- Iron Man, Spider Man 3, The Dark Knight Rises, Thor 2

  2. Today is June 1? No wonder I couldn’t find the OD.

    In no particular order:

    1. The Dark Knight
    2. Batman Forever
    3. Batman & Robin
    4. Under The Red Hood
    5. The Dark Knight Returns 1&2

    • ^lol all Batman? Just sticking to live-action adaptations.
      1. The Dark Knight
      2. Road to Perdition
      3. Watchmen
      4. Iron Man
      5. Spider-Man (sorry liked the first one a bit more than the second)

  3. They are building the Millennium Falcon and an X-Wing for Episode VII!

  4. Oh, great… Juper Ascending has been moved from July 18 to the death zone… February 6 2015. Dammit! I was looking forward to this movie. A giant pushback seems to become the rule for sci-fi movies featuring Channing Tatum… first G.I. Joe: Retaliation and now this.
