I think its very disturbing that ABC is giving control of its news content to the obama white house in the name of national heath care. (This was in yesterdays news)

The network now joins the ranks of controlled media similar to those in North Korea, China and Iran. I’m very disgusted and want to remind everyone that ABC media is controlled by Disney Corp…

790’s stances on other issues regardless, I agree with him on this one. But hey, if ABC wants to risk all their reputation by doing that, bully for them.
Television news are a joke for the most part – they’re all becoming as reliable as the tabloids… I’m guessing we’re all pretty aware of that now.
I´v been very happy to see so many good superhero movies come out lately, and many more to look forwards to -the marvel films. but its a little bit quiet now is it not?
when do the next superhero movies hit the big screen? Anyone know?
Also, I was very happy with the number of Sci-fi shows to follow on Tv, I watched Smallville, Terminator scc, Fringe, Stargate Atlantis, lost and batman brave and the bold.
But now summer is here, and there is nothing going on
– But I seek comfort in Eureka coming with new episodes during the summer.
Animation wise, the new Batman B&B is fun, but its no The Batman show.
I was really happy when I could watch both The batman and Legion of superheroes every week. – Give us some more superhero toons please. the new spiderman cartoon was not fun for me, nor was the super stupid Iron kid cartoon.
Anyone know of some (not anime) cartoon shows to watch?
I do look forward to the Green lantern animated film
Do Stargate universe start this fall? anyone know of other new Sci-fi shows worth watching? I think warehouse 13 might be good. hope it is. And V looks great, hope the story and scripts are as good as the visual style…

I would rather get into a huge fight over Transformers then health care.
You know, they fight so hard sometimes.

On Topic- I’m surprised this didn’t get too much discussion, but Fanboys was finally released on DVD. Did anybody else manage to see it, and did anybody care for it?
I know it was like the big geek grail for a while, so I’m kind of curious as to who saw it and their thoughts.
I heard Fanboys was bad so I Skipped it.

Looks like (probably due to the writers’ strike) that the big superhero movie year will be 2011.
Iron Man 2 – May 2010
Thor – May 2011
Spider-Man 4 – May 2011
Green Lantern – June 2011
The First Avenger: Captain America – July 2011
The Avengers: May 2012
Now that I’m looking at that, I guess Marvel changed their plan to have the ending of Captain America lead right into the opening of Avengers a month or two later.

2011 does indeed look like a big year for Superheroes.
But I am more then content that Iron Man has next summer all to himself.

2011 is going to be stellar, even bigger than 2008. Vic, I thought The Flash movie was dead (I hope I’m wrong)?
At one point Edgar Wright said that he was aiming for Ant-Man in Winter 2010, but that was when Avengers was scheduled for 2011, now that he has a few more years I’m guessing 2011-ish.

Can’t wait to see the Last Airbender trailer. I hope it turns out good, or a LOT of people will be pissed.
Am I the only one who is interested in the Tekken movie coming out? Does anyone have any information about when it’s finally coming out, or when the trailer is going to show. I just want to see a good ‘fight’ movie, there’s not much of that out there anymore.

The Rum Diray wrapped up filming a little while back and it’s gonna get released some time next year.

Well at least there’s a few of us…
Well, I just saw some images from a website of Tekken and it looks awful to me. Of course, that website isn’t an official website so I’m not sure if they are from the actual movie. I like the game, but so far, movie adaptations of games have been horrible.
I know they’ve messed up the story quite a bit. And I have come to accept that, IF the fighting is amazing! I just want to experience the joy of a fight scene like I did watching Ong-Bak. (which i am also looking forward to the second one). I don’t know why they would change the story itself. But that’s hollywood.
Next Wednesday “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” hits theatres!!!!!!!!!
