  1. I am really looking forward to The Taking Of Pelham 123.
Anybody know if the original is being broadcast on any of the cable networks?
I sure would like to see it.
    Thanks!

  2. I’m going to see Land of the Lost this friday,,,

    :-)

  3. Lucky 790, i wanted to watch that and The Hangover. But my wife is having our first baby in a couple of hours (shes being induced) lol, so im pretty sure i wont be able to do anything for a while.

  4. @790

just a heads up… my phone gets early reviews from certain critics and they gave “land of the lost” a whopping 1 out of 4 stars…

Hangover got 2.5 out of 4…i might see that one… maybe.

  5. Hey! Congrats Oscar! I hope everything goes fine bro! That’s great news !!!!
    ^
Jago, yeah thanks man, I was a big fan of the tv show, so I’m curious,,, :-)

  6. A long time ago James Cameron wrote two scripts for the Spider-man movie. One featured Doc Ock as the main villain while the other feature Electro and Sandman. A lot of people today keeps complaining how the Sam Raimi Spiderman movies are water down and childish. Therefore they suggest that Marvel gives James Cameron a chance to direct a darker and more epic Spiderman movie. By the way the scriptment James wrote with Electro and Sandman is ALOT better than the Doc Ock scriptment. The Doc Ock version was kind of corny.

  7. Thanks I’m here right now, waiting. And scared shitless lmao! Ahhhhhhhh

  8. There are only two other actors who I can picture playing Wolverine in the X-men movies other than Hugh Jackman. Russell Crowe and Jason Statham.

  9. i can under stand he other two but statham isnt fit for it his manner of acting isnt befitting

n + i wud like to see a non raimi spidy for a change they shud giv cam a chance

  10. I really hope Marvel doesn’t decide to reboot the Blade movies. Sure the last film wasn’t all that but leave it alone. I think Michael Jai White is the only other actor who can play Blade other than Wesley Snipes. As for Ghost Rider; while it did well at the box office, I have a feeling Marvel is going to reboot it. I really don’t won’t a Ghost Rider reboot. Sure the movie could have been better (a darker version earning a R rating) but let’s not reboot it. Either make a better sequel or leave it alone. Personally I believe Freddie Prinze Jr would have made a better Johnny Blaze than Nicholas Cage. Simply because Nic is a little old to play the part while Freddie is young enough to play Ghost Rider.

  11. @BJ JHones

Please see the link below to know why Marvel will probably never have a say in SPiderman, Ghostrider and other movies

  12. I agree BJ, with the point that Hollywood has just a little too much time on their hands, they need to stop rebooting finished franchises, Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider, etc… and focus on newer films, things that make new fans of series, instead of trying to gain favor with longtime fans. Maybe they could reboot things like Fantastic Four in twenty years or so, but in the mean time, why not let it wait in it’s room and think about what it has done. :)

BTW, congratulations Oscar, is it boy or girl?

  13. as far of this week begins, a lot of new clip from upcoming movie like sequel to twilight and transformers. I think the twilight saga: new moon trailer kinda bored abit, but still looking foward to watch, because I want to know how the movie will be the same like the book. I noticed that they cut a few scene so Bella knows Jacob was a werewolf, do you guys noticed that… Bella should after Laurent is run. I guess they need to cut because want to save new moon durition. I still looking foward to watch this november.

Transformers clip was brilliant, the big-huge-wide robots and small robot look beautiful edit cgi! Shia and Megan…(mostly Megan) look amazingly great.

the new installment of Harry Potter clip look OKAY! Still they movie is just only 2 month ahead. Excited every seconds.

The new picture of Sam Worthington in “Clash of the Titans” remake, look great.

  14. @Oscar

Good luck to you both and congratulations!

Now get off the damned internet while your wife is having a baby… 8-)

    Vic

  15. Just recently I have been looking at reruns of “Married with Children”. Man Christina Applegate was smoking hot back then.

  16. I agree with Vic. I think you should worry about your baby coming soon instead of commenting on movies, lol. especially since your baby could be important to the human race.

  17. LOL!!!! Thanks Vic, I would but there’s nothing else to do. I thought the baby would pop out immediately but I guess it takes time for the medicine to kick in. She’s probably more bored than I am. Thank god for the iPhone.

  18. Warner Bros should not reboot “Superman”. The ONLY reason why some people did not like “Superman Returns” is because it lack fight sequences. The movie did not feature any major fight scenes! SO WHAT?! The movie was good anyway. Sure they could have introduce someone like Brainiac or Darkseid to be a major adversary, but just because the film lack fight sequences doesn’t mean you need to reboot it. Just make a sequel and have Superman fight a villain or “villains” with superpowers! What I do recall reading during the production of the movie is that Jude Law was offered the role of General Zod in “Superman Returns”. He was the ONLY actor Bryan Singer wanted to play the part. Yet Jude Law turned the part down and the character was written out of the final script. I do believe that if Jude Law signed on for the movie then we had some pretty awesome fight sequences in “Superman Returns”! We would have our “Man of Steel” sequel coming out this summer or next year. So blame it on Jude for not playing General Zod! HE’S THE REASON why Superman Returns sucked.

  19. It’s gonna be a girl, and John your right, she can help you lead the resistance. I’ll know when to get off(she’ll be screaming, saying “you did this to me!”)

  20. @Oscar – Don’t listen to Vic. It’s not like you are having to do the pushing. If you don’t surf the net then you’ll get bored :)

Also, whatever happens DO NOT LOOK DOWN!!! YOu’ll never look at it the same way again. I promise you lol. DO however cut the cord if they ask you. Congrats man and let the nurses keep the baby tonight so you guys can get some rest. Trust me, it;s the last time you’ll be able to do that for AWHILE.

  21. I enjoy Tim Burton’s Batman movies, yet I don’t believe that Michael Keaton is the best Batman. I respect Michael Keaton as an actor (Beetlejuice is a classic) but if I was directing Batman back in the late 80′s I would have chosen Alec Baldwin for Bruce Wayne. He would have been a superior Batman. Since I am on the subject of Batman let me point out why I prefer Tim Burton over Christopher Nolan. Batman is supposed to be for children. Tim Burton is capable of making a Batman movie for children. Chris Nolan made two adult Batman movies. Have Nolan gotten his way his Batman movies would have been rated R. Plus Tim Burton Batman has that cool Danny Elfman music.

  22. Thanks guys, and don’t worry I won’t look down lol And thanks for the tip, we will probably need all the help we can get.

  23. Congrats Oscar and best of luck to you and your new family!

  24. I would love to see a Justice League movie. It would be the mother of all comic book movies. But first Warner Bros should make a Batman vs Superman movie. They can use that film to set up the Justice League movie. Picture the ending of Batman vs Superman movie.

It’s night. Superman is on the rooftops of Metropolis. He arranged a meeting with Batman. Someone walks up behind Superman; Batman.

Batman:”You call me up here. What is it?”

Superman: “These last several days fighting Lex Luthor and the Joker made me realized something. Even with all my power and strength I cannot save this world alone. I cannot be the only hero people look up to. Yet the world is saved today because you and I worked together.”

Batman:”What are you trying to say Clark?”

Superman:”It’s time to think outside the box. It’s time that I should give up working solo and form a partnership. A team. A team of heroes”.

Superman turns around and looks at Batman.

Superman: “Batman, how would you like to be the first to be part of the Justice League initiative?”

A smile appears on Batman’s face.

    Batman: “I’m listening”.

  25. Ok, I just watched Jumper the other day (yeah, I know it’s a year late) and I can’t believe how horrible an actor Hayden Christiansen is. I felt like it was Anakin Skywalker in a different movie. He’s as wooden as wooden gets. The SFx were pretty cool and I liked the story, but it seemed like it was all over the place. They left it wide open for a sequel, but if they do it they need to get rid of Christiansen. He seriously might be the worst actor in Hollywood today.

  26. BJ,
I think there was more then a lack of fight scenes to peoples dislike of SR.

  27. Watchmen was a good movie. It should had made around $300,000,000 worldwide. Zack Synder must NOT make a 300 sequel. That movie is a classic. Stephen Norrington should not make a Crow reboot. The first one is fantastic and it would be a mistake to remake it. If Brandon Lee was still alive he would be peeved. If Brandon Lee was still alive he would be one of the biggest action stars today. Right now as we speak he would have a role in Sly Stallone’s “The Expendable” film.

  28. @ Gary

Like what? Some people don’t like “The Dark Knight” yet people are begging for a sequel to that film.

  29. @Oscar

My wife was in labor for more than 30 hours, and after all that ended up giving birth via C-section. We have a daughter as well – can’t believe she’ll be turning 13 next month…. it FLIES by.

Oh, and have them save/freeze the umbilical cord to save her stem cells in case she ever needs them for treatment for some future illness.

    Vic
