I think the reason (more than the actual plot) is the fact that I believe that the series has FINALLY picked up the baton from SG-1. It's got the feel, the chemistry and the actors have grown into their roles. Sheppard no longer looks like a little kid to me - much more rugged and believable as the team leader. Now that the splinter-in-my-eye character Dr. Weir is gone I can really enjoy the show. :-) And I won't miss Amanda Tapping, she was little more than a ratings gimmick on the series last season. First, it was AWESOME to see the Batman trailer on the big screen when I saw Hancock tonight. I got goosebumps from it. I really hope that this movie is as good as the trailers make it out to be, or there will be ALOT of disappointed fans. I have to say that Christian Bale makes me forget about the travesty of George Clooney's Batman. Also, did anyone check out the new show on SciFi this past Friday, Joan of Arcadia?
