Wow. Just had a look for that movie, and not seen it. An old fantasy movie I haven’t seen. I am ashamed of myself. :(

Love Krull. The Slayers weapons are among my all time favourites from movies.

After the entire world see’s TDK what the hell is next?

Talk about an voidey numbness. Oh well I guess I’ll have to watch TDK again and again. Could be worse. ;-)

yo 790,

There’s tropic thunder, and maybe Star wars although I think the new star wars does not look good.

More imporantly, Favreau locked in with Marvel for Iron Man 2. Here’s the scoop:

I’ve got a couple of things. First, it was AWESOME to see the Batman trailer on the big screen when I saw Hancock tonight. I got goosebumps from it. I really hope that this movie is as good as the trailers make it out to be, or there will be ALOT of disappointed fans. I have to say that Christian Bale makes me forget about the travesty of George Clooney’s Batman.

Also, did anyone check out the new show on SciFi this past Friday, Joan of Arcadia? I thought it was interesting and could be a cool new show to watch the rest of the summer.

The season premiere of Stargate: Atlantis was nothing spectacular, but it was enjoyable. I’m going to miss Amanda Tapping as Colonel Carter on the series, though.

I don’t think I am the only one who hopes that David Tennant decides to play Dr. Who for MANY more seasons. He has BECOME Dr. Who!

Andy:

Joan of Arcadia is a good show, and it is an older show they picked up. When it first ran, it got dumped via the pickle poor ratings system that dumps on all good shows.

Stargate Atlantis, though I like it, lacked cohesiveness in the storyline. The holes in the story dinged it enough to just be ‘OK’ in my book. If it were a new show I wasn’t invested in, I’d look to other venues for my entertainment.

Ya know, I really enjoyed the SG-Atlantis season premiere. I think the reason (more than the actual plot) is the fact that I believe that the series has FINALLY picked up the baton from SG-1. It’s got the feel, the chemistry and the actors have grown into their roles.

Sheppard no longer looks like a little kid to me - much more rugged and believable as the team leader. Now that the splinter-in-my-eye character Dr. Weir is gone I can really enjoy the show. :-)

And I won’t miss Amanda Tapping, she was little more than a ratings gimmick on the series last season.
