Gary says:

Are there are any comic book projects
new or reissues,
planned in conjunction with the Green Hornet film?

Cantizzle says:

saw the first half of transport 2 last night. i really don’t like movies that have ridiculous cgi car stunts like (spoiler????) jumping from rooftops into parking garages and doin mid air twists hitting a crane just right to knock a bomb from you car. just plain silly.

SIN187UM says:

@ Cantizzle

There is no spoilers for Transporter 2 seeing how as its been on TBS already. Those who have not seen it yet simply choose not to or have failed like the Commander in Episode IV of Star Wars.

So I guess people really didn’t care to see the trailer for Ninja Assassin though there was lots of oohs and aahs when it was first mentioned on screen rant in April. Oh well.

Andy S says:

I thought Nicholson was GREAT as the Joker. For the time it was made and WHO made it, I thought Jack did a great job. I still love the first Batman film. Not as much as Begins or TDK, but it still is a great film. I have to agree with the poster who said that the full potential of The Joker hasn’t been shown on screen. I think if they did THAT, the film would HAVE to be rated R.

Iron Knight says:

Anyone here will see G.I. Joe? Or does anyone think it MIGHT be better than Transformers? I really don’t expect that much of this film and I’m heavily considering not seeing it…

Ken J says:

@Cantizzle, Transporter 2 is horrible, so was 3, way too ridiculous and stupid, but some people like that…

790 says:

Forget GI Joe and check out Hurt Locker if your over 18 and like reality based war films…

Gary says:

790,
whats wrong with liking BOTH?
and G.I.Joe is not intended to be a war film of any kind .

790 says:

I can see some people liking BOTH films. See um both!

Iron Knight says:

I’ve only seen the first Transporter film, which I thought was ok, but I never got interested on the sequels. Somehow I knew there were lame.

Gary says:

I havent seen any of The Transporter films yet.
The first one sounds good though.
I liked Stetham in The Bank Job.

Matt Keith says:

I just don’t see whats soo great about Nicholson’s performance IMO he seemed too much like a cartoon character.

@Iron Knight

Believe it or not I’m actually hearing pretty good things about G.I. Joe as far as it being a fun summer flick – and I’m hearing that from people who thought Transformers 2 was awful.

Cantizzle says:

ijust didn’t want to spoil it for the rest of the people who might run across it that haven’t seen it yet. HA!
Just watched Pale Rider for the first time. Didn’t know Clint Eastwood directed it back in the day. Great movie. I have really enjoyed the movies he has done that I have seen: Unforgiven, The Mystic, Gran Torino. I did see the one with Meryl Streep, but it was kinda of a love story and don’t remember much of it.

790 says:

Watched “In The Loop” today.
A very hectic Independent British comedy film on the insane background of the post 9-11 global media spinsters.
The dialog was very NC-17 in a BBC kind of way. Worth checking out for mature audiences.
Very funny!!!

Daniel F says:

I’m with you 100% Ken. Those anime’s look terrible especially the Wolverine one. They made him tall with long flowing classic anime hair and he looks nothing like Wolverine except he has claws.

Evie says:

I hated the Transporter films (haven’t seen 3) and Crank, but I do like Statham. I just never know if he has picked a good film to do or not… :|

Yeah I will probably see GI Joe, I just think that whoever put together the first trailer must have done a terrible job.

I hope to see The Hurt Locker this evening actually.

@790: I assume “In The Loop” is on DVD? (since you can’t watch TV)

790 says:

Lol, Evie no “In The Loop” is a independent film that just came out in select theaters. Stars a bunch of British actors and James Gandolfini.

Let us know what you think of “Hurt Locker”. ;-)

Evie says:

Well I’m not going to get to see it tonight like I thought (the person I’m hanging out with doesn’t wanna see it :/)

Ahhh. Well I’ll have to wait to see ‘In The Loop’ on DVD because usually ’select theaters’ means ‘not here’ haha.

790 says:

The title “Hurt Locker” might keep some away but don’t let that fool ya.
Its a realistic intense film about an Army bomb disposal unit in Iraq. It will keep you on the edge for the entire film. Really well done!

“In The Loop” requires a tolerance for British humor but it was pretty funny. Hopefully it will get a wider release. ;-)

Evie says:

Oh I want to see it really bad, but the problem is convincing my friend to see it as well :/ ‘The only war movie I want to see right now is Ingorious Basterds’

And yes, I enjoy British Humor. :D
