Top Movies Ever! (Not going into all of them. Would take too long, but you get the idea when you read.)

1. Scarface (Don't think any movie could live up to this one.)
2. Godfather
3. The Dark Knight
4. Twilight
5. Nightmare Before Christmas
6. Princess Mononoke (Awesome anime movie by Mayazaki. Not for little kids.)
7. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (May change if the next one is great.)
8. Lion King ( 10 + years and still going strong)
9. Million Dollar Baby
10. The Yearling (Gotta love the classics.)
11. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein
12. Master of Disguise (Funny as crap even after watching it four times.)
13. Death Race (Could only be beaten as gory race movie if the make a movie version of the game Twisted Metal Black. Won this one from this site and loved it! Thanks Vic!^^)
14. It's a Wonderful Life
15. What's Eating Gilbert Grape? (XDDD Funny fat scene in this movie.)

Hey, Happy New Year Vic.
Though I havent written much before, I want to congratulate you for running such a great web page and also all the "teammates" that collaborate in it, believe me you do a great job.
Now, I was wondering if someone knew whether The Dark Knight will be re-released outside the US or not...
I would also want to hear opinions about the upcoming Angels & Demons film (I havent seen any coverage for it here)

I am certainly looking forward to the film adaptation of "The Road". Based on the incredible- must read- prize winning novel. From the looks of the few photos released, it appears to be loyal to McCarthy's vision. This, coupled with the fantastic ensemble of actors, should garner some possible Oscar bait. Oh, yes and Vic, I was led to belive in my early 60's school days that we would all be living like the Jetsons by now!

I think Warner Bros. bears some responsibilty too,
But Fox could have discreetly made inquiries about a settlement And then if it didnt work sue AFTER the films release .
the only reason to sue prior to the films release is to get more money in a settlement.

As to the whole Watchmen mess, Warner Bros. is not completely without fault here - with their army of lawyers I do not believe they weren't aware of Fox's claim or the legality of it. While I think that Fox is acting like a schmuck studio (sitting on the property for 20 years and then getting pissy when another studio makes what looks like an amazing film), I think WB knew this was coming and gambled that they could pay off Fox minimally and not have it affect the release date.

I know this site is devoted to sci-fi/horror/fantasy but this Christmas, I decided to watch a show I had never seen before: House. USA was having a marathon and I got hooked on the first episode. Gregory House is a medical genius but he has an out-of-this-world type of disposition. When I got home after Christmas, I set my DVR to record House every time it comes on.

Here's my top five list of movies I'm looking forward to this year:

1. Star Trek
2. Watchmen
3. Avatar
4. Terminator Salvation
5. X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Everything below that is nothing I'm terribly excited about.

Unless some new big superhero/sci-fi movie is announced later this year I don't know what I'm going to cover besides Avatar come June. :-P

Hey all! Does anyone find it incredible that a film which hasn't been adapted from a graphic novel or an 80's toy line and isn't a sequel, could create so much buzz with just a few leaked images and no trailer? I speak of James Cameron's long awaited return to directing. For some reason i get sudden urges to see just a small clip from this movie. The premise is even that great but something about it makes me anticipate its release just as much as Watchmen or Transformers 2. Has anyone else got Avatar fever?

Vic! What is going to be the BIG movie that ScreenRant covers this year?! I know it's Star Trek and Watchmen... But are you interested in Avatar? What about Transformers 2? What about the new Terminator? Any other movies that are on YOUR list this year that I don't know about...? :)
