what happened to the highlander Remake? Has there been any news after the director was announced? Is it stalled?
Ok this is going to sound hugely random. I was watching The Wicker Man remake the other night on tv, call it morbid curiousity, and I was struck by two incredibly bizarre cameos. James Franco and Aaron Eckhart.
Just plain weird. Weirder than the film anyway.

Here's a question: What movies have been filmed in your hometown? (I'll even accept within a 30 minute drive of your hometown). If you live in a large metropolitan area where stuff is filmed all the time, let's narrow it down to your neighbourhood… The only one most would recognize concerning my area are scenes from The Incredible Hulk (Ed Norton version) involving military airbase scenes.

I watched both Transformers 2 and Terminator Salvation the other night, skipping through human storyline of TF2 and some of the crappier parts of TS. It had been some time since I had seen either one and concluded that they are both only HALF-bad.
Not sure about the glitch, I have had some issues with disqus though. On some articles it wouldn't appear. But on other articles it works just fine.
and my girlfriend just bought me “The Warriors” on DVD. Man that movie is great. The newer edition added in some comic book effects, didn't do much for me.
I really can't imagine them remaking that movie.
So Eastwick has disappeared from the Wednesday night line up–is it gone forever?
Vic I like my old name and avatar pic……the current format will not allow me to change it. Tried a dozen times and Disqus says it has sent my instructions on email….alas not.
Have you checked your spam folder? Other folks here have been able to duplicate both their old avatar and user names in Disqus.
Wow… that's an interesting question. I live in Chicago, and quite a few movies were filmed here, including The Dark Knight. As for my neighborhood, a few scenes for Barbershop were filmed around the area.
Alas, Eastwick is truly gone forever…

There is a movie or TV show where a character gets a large (lottery like) cardboard check and is told time again the bank will cash it…. I think the person with the check is Jackie Earle Haley.
Does anyone know what I am talking about? What “show” was it and was it Jackie Earle Haley.

So EngraverKev, you never mentioned the area where part of The Incredible Hulk was filmed. Well, EngraverKev, since I'm right here I'll answer…. I live between Montreal, Quebec and Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The air base scenes were done at Canadian Forces Base Trenton, Ontario… just outside of Belleville.
