Ken, Ken. That's no way to talk about the 3rd black president (4th if you count Clinton).
{{ Think 24 }}
By the way, where's Tony? Does anyone think he'll make it through the whole season? Does anyone think he'll make it to the end of the season without going badboy again?
Ken J
Um, who cares? I didn't watch it anyhow, I think I was watching something better like How It's Made or Destroyed in Seconds on Discovery. And if nothing was on there, I would probably clip my fingernails or something more important than that...
Gary
I just wanted to say that President Obamas decision to have his press conference before tonights episode of 24 has MY FULL SUPPORT!

Dateline: Denver Pic Shows Man Robbing Stores With Klingon Sword
Perhaps you saw SNL's Weekend Update with Seth Meyers, where he talked about a guy robbing 7eleven stores with a bat'leth. Check out the news story and the hilarious comments that follow it.
Yeah, but when Ando injected himself they said something about getting a power they wished to have, or something like that, and Peter lost his power to his dad, maybe when he injected himself he got a different power.
Ken J
@greenknight, no, I didn't see Pathfinder. My friend wanted to watch that, but we changed our minds about watching it after the reviews came in.
@ Vic
Just wait for the DVD. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't a GREAT movie. It's full of cliches, but I didn't mind it since, honestly, what movies about Vikings have you seen that ISN'T full of cliches? So I went in expecting that.
And like I said, it seems like it bit off of a few other popular movies like Predator and Alien, and one scene was almost a direct bite off a scene from Dragonheart. It was one "shot" that only lasted one second, but I'm sure they got the inspiration from a similar dramatic shot in Dragonheart. If you're one of the few that have seen it, think reflection off the eyes at the end of Dragonheart, and tell me that scene at the end of Outlander isn't exactly the same, done the same way, and meant to have the same dramatic effect.
Damn, now that I mention Dragonheart, I want to watch it again. I love that movie... They can't have any talking dragons unless it's voiced by Sean Connery...

Christian Bale is a crazy douche bag.
ken
LOL. that was supposed to say, im actually a "jr". dont know how i missed both keys. lol
ken j....just kidding its just
Ken j: Im actually a, so tech i could sign in as Ken j.....
JMoney: I remember hearing in one episode or other, that your power is specific to your DNA. And the parkman thing makes sense, in a, its a mystical kind of power that gets passed kind of way.

@ Sylar's Hunger Continues
New animated DVD from Marvel/Lionsgate Films...It features two shorts of the Hulk taking on Wolverine, Deadpool, Omega Red, Lady Deathstrike & Sabertooth..The second short features the Hulk taking on Thor in Asgard...
Cool concept just flawed IMO in it's execution...Could have been a lot more I guess is what I am trying to say.

Hurry, Heath, Hurry! I have no idea what they're talking about but I don't care enough to Google.

@ Ken J
Ken did you see Pathfinder with Karl Urban? I was just wondering how Outlander would compare to that in terms of quality?
Mark
I think the Parkman thing actually makes sense. Maybe one of the abilities the guy in Africa had was the ability to pass on his gift. Parkman did go on sort of a journey and had the hallucinatory paste stuff. Who's to say that Hiro didn't develop it as well before his abilities were stolen by Arthur?
Steve
...your email box will abound with...
Sorry, that incorrect word was bugging me. :)
Steve
I'm wondering about the SkynetResearch.com web site. I've done a 'whois' on the site, and it is registered 'anonymously' through a company in Arizona. This makes me very suspicious as it would seem (to me) that Warner Brothers, et al (related to the whole Terminator franchise) would want their copyright name all over the place, on the splash, etc.
Further, the site 'promises' something (ominously ironic is that...it's Judgement Day LOL), but wants your email address in the process. It's the type of site that would cause people to input a valid email wanting the latest [hot] Christian Bale or Tx cyborg shots, etc.
Call me paranoid...or just a good IT security guy LOL...but this site looks far more like something to stay away from. It seems more likely to build a viral marketing list which, rather than Bale's pics, or shiny robotic flying drones...your email box will about with performance enhancing products...if'n y'all know what I mean. LOL

ANyone watched the Hulk VS DVD...I was really disappointed with that...Another Wolverine origin story..cripers we have had that in the original X-MEn, in the animated series', also in the new movie..I felt like the Hulk had a cameo in his own film with Hulk Vs Wolverine and Thor was a big wimp in the Hulk Vs Thor..
Anybody else have thoughts on this...
Ash Ali
I've seen Outlander, and it is as bad ass as they say.
JMoney
I assumed Peter didnt get his original powers back, that he got something else.
What makes no sense to me is how Parkman can now paint the future
Unfortunately Outlander isn’t playing anywhere within driving distance for me.
Vic
HuggyBear
Ken, Uwe actually made a decent film called Tunnel Rats. Seen it?
steven the git
So Outlander is finally out? Cool. Will have to see if the dvd is available.
Um, what was Arthur Petrelli's power anyway? He seemed to control minds and absorb powers.
Ken J
LOL, don't be mean HB, it had a lot of cliche's, but was nothing in the Uwe Boll level.
Ken J
The only thing I will say about it, is that the story seems like a few other movies put together. I got a bit of Aliens in the beginning and end, and a bit of Predator in the middle...
HuggyBear
Me too, the film was good for the first 10 minutes. After that it gets an uneasy Uwe Boll feeling.
Ken J
Oh, I guess instead of digging up an old thread, let me just say, I saw Outlander in theaters. I don't know why it isn't getting a wide release, it was quite good, and was produced very well, meaning it didn't feel "cheap." There were lots of people, grand settings, very good effects, good sound effects, I mean, in no way did this feel like a straight to DVD movie, independent movie, or low budget movie or anything. I think it deserves a wide release. So many crappy films get released wide, don't understand why this didn't make it...
Ken J
Alright ken, screenrant isn't big enough for two ken's... lol, just kidding man. :-P
ken
I wonder if he is able to take powers from dead people? His father was dead when he injected himself. If he did, hed now be able to steal powers and absorb them? So then he would have just depowered suresh and ughhh whichever on the 3 sisters that is.
Johnny-K of Norway
well his father could absorb powers- so maybe he got it from him?
