Open Discussion – December 03, 2008

It’s Wednesday so it’s time for our weekly open discussion post. Talk about whatever you like as long as it’s related to movies, TV or Screen Rant itself.

As is becoming common, I have a side note: If you use Yahoo for email, you’re probably not receiving comment updates from us. It seems that Yahoo has blacklisted my server IP because it thinks I’m a spammer. I’m working on resolving the problem.

  1. Um, and I’ve never had a problem receiving mail with Yahoo either, this is the first time. I’m sure if there are enough gmail accounts here, his ip might get banned by them too. It’s actually a good thing, Yahoo is working hard to limit how much spam people get. And yes, yahoo has unlimited storage too, they’ve had it for quite some time now, nothing new.

  2. Right gang…I know you’re all dying to know…George Takei has come 3rd in this years “I’m A Celebrity” here in the UK…earlier in tonights show we saw George having to eat various Australian jungle food…he had to eat 3 cock-roach…2 locust..and 1 kangeroos penis!!!(Honest)…for doing that he won proper meals for himself and his jungle friends inc;Martena Navratalova..
He’s going down a storm here and is really popular with the public…again he’s come across as a truely nice man!!!

  4. Very odd that the TV ad (I saw it during Heroes) about The Day the Earth Stood Still has a tack-on saying something like, “The only place you’ll see the trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” Is this a sad statement about the strength of the movie, or a positive statement about the draw of the trailer?

  5. @Sylar’s Hunger Continues

I think they are just getting very desperate for an audience, I heard that the day the earth stood still is very horrible.
