So Vic will you be renaming “Superman Man of Steel” to “Superman The Reboot” in the Upcomming Movies section and how does Warner’s news effect “The Justice League” topic? Inquiring minds want to know. :)

I don’t know, the fan base seems pretty evenly divided about who should play the two principle characters. Between all those who can’t see the movie without the latest actors playing the two principle characters. To the ones insisting that one character, Batman is like antimatter to Superman’s positive matter status. Little lone how that relates to the other characters. Is their any point to continued wrangling about a movie more than 3 years away?

since someone mentioned Batman, I just read on foxnews.com that Cher is reported (rumored) to be playing catwoman in the next Batman. And the article also mentions the other rumored actors and actressesof the nex movie..here is the link if you’re interested…..

@the old man
Good point, I need to rename it to just “Superman.”

@Brooster
Kofi was supposed to write something up on that… that’s a totally bogus rumor that has been officially debunked.

SInce they are rebooting Superman, I think they should take Marvel’s approach and keep the JLA movie in mind when writing it and maybe have a cameo by one of the characters (Batman maybe) to help set it up. That is unless they are going to keep JLA a separate entity from the individual movies. Which I believe would be a dumb idea.

yeah this new Superman sounds really interesting!

I’m a new reader by the way, and very nice blog :)

The only way I want to see a JLA film is if it uses the Same Superman and Batman that the other films do.
If they want to recast Superman in their reboot then that OK ,
But once they have established that they should use the same actors.
No using different actors in JLA.

I saw that Hell ride Flick last night, presented by Tarentino and featuring a pile of his usual actors.

It was a grindhouse style flick and I think many of you guys would like it better than Death Proof. It was enjoyable but a little lacking in dialogue.

Gary, Ink could we please give this whole what actor should play Batman, Superman in a “Justice League” movie a rest? Its more than three years away. A bunch of things will no doubt happen in the intervening time. By the time each of the characters next individual movies come out the general public could perhaps move on to something else. Hey, it could happen! Even disco had a life span..What do say guys table it for now.

Old man –

Where did I mention who should play Superman? All I said was they should take marvel’s approach and plan ahead.

BTW, Disco lives forever! :)

I read this one on Motley Fool the other day…

‘Marvel Entertainment (NYSE: MVL) - “A crummy little comic book company,” Wall Street types called it… Until it turned into a multi-media blockbuster entertainment conglomerate. 871% PROFIT for Fools who acted early!’

I wonder what Kevin Smith’s stock pick of the week is.

Here’s a question, if you go to the Discovery store, you’ll see a FEW DVDs on blu-ray. But one in particular, Planet Earth, is only on DVD or HD DVD. Does anyone know if it’s ever going to come out on Blu Ray? I plan on buying a bunch of these Discovery or BBC shows on blu ray eventually… I don’t have a HDTV or blu ray player yet, but I know blu ray will be the next standard, so it would only make sense right?

Planet Earth and Discovery Atlas: China are on the top of my list to get on blu ray when it comes to Discovery shows.

Gary, this new Knight Rider was kind of introduced through a tv movie. So they are advertising this as the tv series so people don’t confuse it for the tv movie they released earlier. It’s all garbage anyhow, but just figure I clear that up.
