But really, how interesting can a character be when his main story is about fighting crime and yet he’s virtually indestructible, bullet proof, can fly, has lasers in his eyes… the list goes on. The only way to kill him is via radioactive bits of his homeworld, which, lets be honest here, if Superan were a villain, we could let them get away with such sloppy writing, but he’s the hero and yet they want me to care about a character that’s about as immortal as Wile-E Coyote.

All in all, Superman is foolish for trying to have his cake and eat it too with Lois, and Lois is just plain stupid for not being able to recognise someone simply because they took their glasses off.

Well, from the movies, I don’t think Superman went after Lois, Lois goes after Superman, but Clark Kent goes after Lois while Lois doesn’t go after Clark Kent. That’s how I saw it at least. But yah, regardless, she should be able to tell, lol.

Oh Superman has the whole “I’m very awkward” thing going, but he’s then stupid enough to have Clark Kent AND Superman both go after the same girl giving her a decent look at both Superman and Superman with spectacles.

Batman tends to (and again, I may be mistaken here since I don’t follow Batman that much) keep his Bruce Wayne life and Batman life as separate as possible.

That public playboy thing was done by Bruce Timm’s animated version too. Nolan didn’t think of that either.

As for Batman, I have to say a lot of what people use to determine a persons appearance comes from the eyes and the Batman mask covers the entire top of the head (seriously, when was the last time you went “Kyle… Kyle is that you? I’d recognise that jaw anywhere!”).

Superman’s disguise is pretty stupid (I wear glasses and my friends, who didn’t know me before I started wearing them, can still recognise me when I take them off) but Batman?

I mean, at least in the Nolanverse Wayne plays himself up as a millionaire playboy, his public persona doesn’t match the kind of person who would selflessly go out and put his life at risk getting the bad guys. Seriously, in a city filled with hundreds of thousands, if no millions of people, Bruce Wayne would likely be the last person you’d think of as the Batman.

Oh, BTW, I still haven’t checked Watchmen: Director’s Cut out yet, but it’s still on my list.

As far as Bale’s Batman voice is concerned….well, it didn’t bother me, and could understand everything he was saying, but seeing I would LMAO listening to it with a chipmunk voive though.
