Terri,

It depends... spoiler alert:

He DOESN'T find Osama.

Hell, he doesn't even come close.

The docu is more about exploring the culture over there, giving us an on the ground view of what the citizens and leaders of different Middle Eastern countries think of us. What I found the most disturbing was an interview he TRIED to conduct in a Saudi Arabian school. How we can depend so heavily on that country is beyond me.

If you're a fan of Spurlock, you might want to go. Otherwise I'd say the DVD will probably be out in 3-4 months.

Vic;

Morgan Spurlock's (of Supersize Me fame) newest documentary about finding Osama Bin Laden is opening in New York this weekend. I seem to remember you seeing it at Sundance, but don't recall an actual review.

I'm considering seeing one of the shows, mainly because they're offering a Q&A with Spurlock afterwards. Just wondering what your opinion was. Should I spring for the $20 train fare?

Toy franchise indeed.. I'm so far ahead of that.

I have 1/18 and 1/64 scale diecasts of the mach 5.. bought them about 5 years ago.. love the thing.... it's one of my pride and joys in my way too massive collection of diecasts..

There's some other goodies I may just write about later on here on Screen Rant!

Hey Bruce you might want to get Cloverfield on dvd so you can get some bonus on how they made the film?

I'm really thinking Speed Racer is going to be completly kick ass from the opening theme to the Mach 6 riding off in the sunset.
Great Cars, this is a total built in franchise. Think of all the toys coming out of this film. I bet lucas is jelious. The character of Speed is played by one of my favorite new actors Emile Hirsch. Racer X looks and sounds just like he did in the cartoon,,, the effects look like there light years ahead of shows like "Knight Rider". It just looks awesome.
The kids are going to completly love it. It will blow past 200 mil within a few months easy.

I have an idea for the site, Vic. How about a link that lets us know what is being released during the current week and/or DVD releases for the week?? Maybe up along the top with the other links??

Like you know when a slasher is so bad you root for the killer. Well its past that point you want even the slasher to die cuz hes so dumb. It has every cliche in the book, and it never shows the stab wounds just tiny blood splotches and no holes in the shirt. There are also tons of extremely not intended to be hilarious (but are) parts because the mood is all wrong.

Ok, if you love making fun of movies go see the recent remake Prom Night. I went to see it for that sole purpose and had the best movie experience since Cloverfield.

I know! I was up late one night as a teenager and watched the Invasion of the Body Snatchers, with Sutherland in. That had a freaky ending, so I stayed up watching tv and ended up seeing the Vanishing. Yikes! What an ending?! No idea how I spelt after that one.
Then, some time later I see the remake and what a weak attempt it was. Oh, and let's not forget the lame, 'no thanks' to coffee joke at the end.

Ha, just realised something. The Invasion movie I watched had Donald Sutherland in, and the remake of the Vanishing had Kiefer in. Also had Sandra Bullock, barely, before she vanished.

Boy your right about the Vanishing.

That changed ending defeated the entire point of the original.
