I gotta admit Vic, I was taken back by the new site layout and the stubborn part of me hated it. But after a couple of days I am REALLY liking the new setup. Faster, easier to see what's new and to get to the articles I am interested in. Great job as usual, Vic!

I look down and all I see is my legs... I mean, what am I supposed to see by *looks down on the bottom of the page*

FYI, the poll is now sitewide so you can vote from anywhere. And over the next day or so I am planning on bringing back latest comments to the bottom of the page along with hot topics and latest posts.

Hello Vic, I must say the new Homepage is really GOOD (should I say awesome?). I think it was time for something new and fresh for the site. Hope it doesn't take much time for me to get used to it. Anyways, just wanted to congratulate great work done. Oh, and that Poll thing should be kinda cool, hehehe...

Yah, but don't worry about it, it's not too hard to simply hit back to get back to the main page to see if any more comments have been submitted, it does load faster afterall.

I see the latest headlines and latest comments thing on the homepage, but before under the comments on each article you see the latest headlines and latest comments there too. Like on this page now, I see the latest headlines on the right side column, but no latest comments. But it's no big deal, I can just refresh the main page to see the latest instead of jumping from article to article.

Oh, and the site loads MUCH faster now, too.

- Latest comments are in the lower right section of the page.

- Latest articles are dead center in the middle of the page, separated into movies and TV.

- In addition we now have "Hot Topics" on the home page, showing articles with the most comments over the last couple of days.

Everything that was on the page before is still there, plus additional features, and you don't have to "page down" 10 times to see everything. :-)

I'm getting used to it. Once my I get accustommed to where to look to see what I'm looking for it's pretty cool. But no more "latest comments" or latest articles on the bottom of every page? Oh well, that's what tabbed browsing is for, lol.

I've removed the comment pagination because a few people mentioned the same problem.

Yah, it hasn't done it since that day, must have just been a glitch...

I think I just have a knack for having things not work for me like it works for everyone else... lol.

That's very odd - I tested this comment pagination in Firefox, Safari, IE6 & IE7 and I never had it do that.

If you could do me a favor and find a page where that happens - right click over the "Show All" link and paste it here so I can try and figure it out.

Apologies for the stoopid moment, re read it earlier and I definitely had a dumb episode! However, there is no need for the bitchy-ness, as much as I love movies, they are only movies at the end of the day.

The page thing is weird. Here it works perfect, but on some other ones, longer ones, when I click on one of the page numbers or on the "Show All" link it just brings me back to the main SR page... weird...

Necrotic, stay until after ALL of the credits...

The ending i saw had nothing to do with Deadpool,it had Stryker malking with busted -open shoes and the MPs came up in hummer and told him he was wanted in connection to the murder of the captian dude at the weapon X facility.

Second part was Wolverine in Japan, drinking in a bar and saying he was "drinking to remember", as opposed to "drinking to forget",which was what the bartender asked

good news about new Eureka episodes, ty for the update. Thnx for the reasoned review of the new Trek film Vic, it's appreciated that you attempt to point out any plot hole disasters so I'll try and see it against the grain of the usual throngs with a matinee during the week.

Picked up "Gene Roddenberry's, Earth Final Conflict season 1" on dvd today. Great show.
Eugene Roddenberry dedicated the dvd to his mom Majal Roddenberry.

Just read the update on The Kung Fu Kid...... The out look appears grim after Chan's statements , and just the whole premise. CRAP.

LIFE ON MARS and MYSTERY REVEALS (no spoilers)

I watched the entire US series in the past few weeks, and it was the most fun I've had with a series for a long time. Everyone seems to say "the UK version was better." (I've not seen it).

Anyone follow the US version? I wonder if it was slated to last as long as it did, or if it was capped off because of low ratings?

I loved that it was officially wrapped up--that also gave Journeyman an honorable end. The lack of an explanation is what made me want to strangle the makers of John Doe, Daybreak, Invasion, etc.

FYI, I'm trying something different with comments. When an article goes over 20 comments it's going to create a new comment page, and for every 20 comments thereafter. On every page they'll display in the order your used to, and the latest comments will always appear on the main page.

Some pages get so many comments it makes the page load time slow down, so this should help with that.
