So I guess the movies make sense. If done well, these movies could be as good as the LoTR trilogy. Since they're basically inspired by LoTR (some might even say that Jordan stole quite a few concepts). Just as an update on my previous post (since I don’t know if I made anybody curious or not):

Just hope it isn't all look and no substance. All looks a bit glossy and pretty, which worries me. They guy has down some of the biggest no story movies ever. Transformers was all about the CGI. It's sad because there were some good actors in that film and amazing action, but the plot was terrible there was very littel character development and it was about as deep as a plate.
