I have Avatar Envy, went to Gravatar to register a name so I can have a pic on here and I can’t use any variation of Dante. Lameness.
To me it’s just annoying. It adds nothing to this “discussion”, and actually makes no sense to tell anyone you have the first comment.
It looks like it added some discussion to this “discussion” actually. It’s just a cheeky nod to the other ranters and nothing to get upset about, jeez.
In this case yes, but not in most cases. It’s just a way for people to let everyone know they’re the first to comment when nobody really cares.
I agree, it’s just childish. It was something I was so glad to never have to deal with on these comments, that’s all you see in the comingsoon.net comments. But I guess sooner or later the kids will invade…

I’m getting goosebumps.
So I saw Priest Last night, and I have to say I enjoyed it but no means is it a great movie, it has the feel of the Old Judge dread Movie. First off let me say as I enjoyed the movie , it is very short I think it has a running time of like 80 mins, and thought the rush through the story line they do have some decent action scenes , however the movie fails use it best actor to his fullest potential, Karl Urban’s character is great but is severely under used. The Vamps in this film are different in this film more of a beast Vamp then anything else, with urban being one of the first Human Vamps made, again this is barely touched upon and not properly explored in the film.
I would give Priest a 2.5 out of 5
Saw the latest episode of The Office just now, and I have to say that it didn’t suck.
sure, it feels like something is missing with Michael gone, but so far they’ve done a good job at using the whole cast to try to fill that hole. I laughed plenty of times at the episode, and I’m cautiously optimistic about the future episodes of The Office. It looks like this big change has given new energy to the writers.
I can’t wait for a Michael Scott cameo, it is going to happen.
i think the biggest movie news of the YEAR is that our own Vic gave Bridesmaids a 4.0 and Thor a 3.5

Are you kidding me? If there are people who watch Quantum Kitchen, there must be people watching this.
Well I watch neither of them. I watched the first episode of Cougar Town and I thought it was horrible. I can’t believe it got picked up for a 3rd season.
Everyone agrees that the pilot episode of that series sucked. But either way since then the show has gotten a lot of fans and great reviews, so its a lot different from the first episode.
Plus, it was revealed that on next week’s episode of Cougar Town they will have a Community shout out. I hope it involves abed who has repeated stated how great Cougar Town is (And I agree with him)

So who thinks Black Panther will be in Avengers 2? Of course after his solo film.
The only issue I can see with Panther being in the Avengers movie line is that he is or becomes the King/Chieftan of his people. Hopefully his story line that will criss cross with other heros wont go to far away from Wakanda.
A King should not be gallivanting around when he is needed at home as King.
Maybe a guest appearance where he is helping the Avengers or they need to go to Wakanda. I see him as a reserve Avenger.
Yeah he’s needed at home. It’s strange though, apparently in the movie history, Howard stark invented Vibranium, but I always thought (in comic history) that Vibranium was derived from meteorite fragments located under Wakanda.
Still… with the whole vibranium angle, it seems natural to have T’Challa connected with S.H.I.E.L.D in some way.
What I dont want to see happen (and not saying it will) is the heroes lose their individuality just for the sake of getting them on the big screen.
Everything is not about the Avengers or SHIELD. (not saying you are stating this just saying) So I hope they dont lose sight.
And speaking of Disney, Marvel and Wakanda…….

Just watched the finale of SGU it was epic…..I wish they’d do what Kevin Spacey is doing…..he is creating a show that will go straight to netflix….no major networks, no commercials.
Its Friday the 13th. Whatever happened to the Friday the 13th marathons that used to come on tv. They should as least show part one thru the Final Chaper. And then on Sat show one thru Final Chapter. Then at 8:00 show the 2009 remake. maybe next year.

TV – Reaper. I loved that show. Its a shame no one else did. Sons of Anarchy and MacGyver are awesome recent additions. Movies – I recently watched Black Heaven. It’s an amazing movie if don’t mind subtitles. I strongly suggest checking it out. I saw Raging Bull and The Golden Child were recently added too. Polar opposites but both absolute classics in their own right. Also they have like days of MST3K on there!

Wonder Women the tv series has been cancelled. It is also for the same reason why the comic book changes had failed. As a result of removing the American clothes, (in comic book and tv series, Wonder Women has been cancelled on the small screen… and her clothes are being switched back in the comic book. Hahaha…
