One Big Reason to See Hitchhiker’s Guide

Sam Rockwell as Zaphod BeeblebroxI just watched the new trailer for Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and yes, it looks cool and funny. However the real reason I’m now stoked to see this film is because Sam Rockwell is in it… in the role of Zaphod Beeblebrox.

For those of you who don’t know, Sam played the “red shirt” character of Guy Fleegman in Galaxy Quest, and he had some, if not most of the funniest lines in that hysterically funny film. If you are a Star Trek fan, or a fan of old TV Sci Fi in general, you must see that film.

    Oh my! I LOVE Hitchhiker’s Guide! And I really enjoyed Galaxy Quest too. I’m ready to go to the movies! Woo Hoo!

    Hey, is that other main character that guy who used to play a super hero on British TV? His wife worked in a doctor’s office with this lady who always wore atrocious crocheted vests????
    (Boy if you have never seen that show, this probably sounds like a demented question!)

    Oh, I’m in the US too. That British show was on PBS. ;-) Oh well, when I see the movie, I will be able to tell if it’s him.

    If you’re talking about the guy who plays Arthur Dent in Hitchhiker’s Guide, his name is Martin Freeman and you can read about him here.

    Yetizirah: I think you’re thinking of “My Hero”, brilliant show for anyone who appreciates British humour. The main actor is Ardal O’Hanlon.
