I love the game. It has the potential for a great movie if it’s done right. They took the costume and the image of the Prince straight out of the game. But I have a bad feeling about the movie. I’m afraid the another Spiderman is coming instead of the good action/adventure film. I really don’t think that JG was a good choice for this role. It would be better of Orlando Bloom played the Prince – he knows how to handle the sword perfectly and he can act too. He looks more like Prince too. On that picture I see scared JG in a costume but I still can’t picture him as a Prince.

Exactly. People seem to have such high expectations of this film. Take a step back, and look at it objectively. The history of videogame-to-film adaptations have not been good. This film may not be an exception to the films thus far.

I just hope it’s entertaining and not mind-numbing idiotic as some have been. As I’ve said before, I’m not expecting an Oscar-worthy film, I’m just hoping for a fun flick that doesn’t treat us like mindless idiots. If it can achieve that, it will finally break the long chain of videogame-to-film adaptations that suck arse.

It’s a movie based on a video game and we all know how STELLAR that genre has been thus far..so looking at the track record of other films of this ilk..it does not bode well..

IMO it looks B-A-D… agree or not..that does not make it foolish as you said.

the most of them white but there is some people there color like indian ..

and i think Jake Gyllenhaal more than good for this movie

Well dude if you played Sands of time you would know that the The heroine , Farah The Princess is daughter of a Indian maharajah that is attacked by the Prince and his fathers Persian Empire.The Sand of Time is war loot that the Persians find in the Indian maharajah kingdom and is brought back to Persia with princess.

Super Mario, sorry but NO. Tony Jaa is too small and just doesn’t fit the role at all. But the funny thing is, he can pull off all the crazy acrobatic stunts without the wires or stunt men.

My vote has always been David Belle. Unrealistic but he was freaking perfect. Physically, he’s perfect for the role (He invented Parkour). He also looks to be off middle eastern heritage (i know for sure he has some arab blood in him). Again, unrealistic but it would turn out so much better imo.

People, seriously get over yourselves. This isn’t based on a long running book series, or comic-books where there is a lot of history to go back on or base off of. You’re all complaining for the most asinine reasons. It’s a freaking video game.

He looks fine, and I’m satisfied with the look and all. I’ve played most of the Persia games so I’m not expecting an Oscar worthy movie here. Don’t get bent out of shape.

I know he’s from Thailand and I’m not sure how good his English is but I wish they could have gotten Tony Jaa to play the Prince. If you’ve seen Ong-Bak or The Protector then you know he could have done all the Prince’s video game moves without any effects! Dude can move!

Looks bad..really bad..REALLY REALLY BAD!!!!

I mean why let fear and common sense stop you from wasting 150 million with Gyllenhaal as a lead…if this movie makes it’s money back I will eat my hat…he doesn’t exactly sell macho and fearless hero to me in that get-up…
