  1. I agree with Eric, this was a great movie. Look how much people are talking about it!I think the mid-credit scene is from the beginning and they are picking up the false Paris bank vault set, etc…., and props they will need to carry out the mission.Enjoy the movie, don’t over analyze it, it is for entertainment, and it was very entertaining!

  2. What happened to Lionel Shrike? The French lady said after he drowned, they never found his body. What REALLY happened to him?

    • To RNO_Raydar, hi, if my comment from about a week ago was posted, I too brought this up. If he hadn’t escaped from the safe, surely divers would have gone down, and cut safe open to reveal a body or no body in which case it makes a mockery of the plot: the father being “victim” and the son doing “revenge”. I predict a sequel, where father returns to son, son can’t believe father could pretend to be dead and abandon son, etc, father says “well, son, made a man out of you didn’t it”, har har, Hollywood’s a bit like that, it may happen. Or, maybe it was an illusion and the father never really got into the safe (did it have an unhinged side for him to escape once under surface of water?), or maybe it wasn’t really him, or maybe he didn’t go into the water but vanished into thin air….Hollywood will think something up as that’s the weakest part of the story, The Unfound Father , ooh spooky.

  3. I think people need to remember what they thought when they first watched the movie. I think they watch the movie then rewatch it and over think it. Yeah once you watch it and know the plot you’ll start to pull it apart. There’s only 1 or 2 things that really irked me but overall I really enjoyed the movie. If I was writing a script for the next movie I’d start it where the last one ended. I mean you can’t really start it in the U.S they are fugitives aren’t they? So they start in Paris with the locks. I think it’d be a Lil interesting if you took someone who can speak with others that passed. Then you can tie in Dylan’s father. But this “gift” has caused this person to be a loner and keeps them from making connections with others but it’s this person and their gift that the horsemen need for their next quest….find people with true gifts..combine magic and wonder of the unknown. Then you can use this persons gift to unravel and Lil bit about each horsemen and understand them a Lil more. It’s just what I would do. It’s just an idea don’t rip me apart too much….I don’t make a living dong this so if it’s a crappy idea so be it

  4. I love this movie. It’s a thrilling action, magical, revenge film brought up together with on a low level of romance. I generally can’t wait for the sequel to come out in 2015. In my opinion I think the sequel should be about how is life for The Four Horsemen now that they joined The Eye. Like what will be there next trick? Did the FBI quit the investigation? Which I presume they did. What will happen with Danny’s and Henley’s love affair? Have they all gone their separate ways but still be part of The Eye or have they all stayed together? I mean there are so many questions and amazing things that can happen in this sequel. I would not be shocked if the tricks are so much cooler than the ones in the first film. But then again just my opinion. Although I think it will be really cool if in the second film all of these questions were answered and that what is next for the amazing illusionists.

  5. Itll be about Morgan Freeman getting out of jail. He already got out once in Shawshank, why should he do it again?

    • To Kitty, have you seen the film?

  6. well i just watched the movie and i was so amazed by it. i didnt thought for a second that dylan would be the culprit. anyway i am looking for the sequel of this movie and i think that some possibilities are; since the last part of the movie said that they are looking for new recruits, the sequel will probably consist of new characters. or probably as some say, it can be the real story behind dylan’s father and his death. it could be the latter. or it an also be the story of how the eye was formed and who started it. or maybe morgan freeman being jailed is just another part of the act to make a bigger one. ahahaha.. they probably want to break someone out of jail. wahaha. nonetheless, whatever it may be, i am so looking forward to it by 2015 or 2016.

  7. I just want to ask… The last scene;I mean the last last scene where they were in a deserted wasteland, what happened to them? It was something like the ‘Hermit’ lost his card. Is that on purpose? That they were discarded because The Eye doesn’t need them anymore? Or there’s going to be a part 2?

  8. Did anyone else get tricked by the movie? The opening scene Jesse has a girl pick a card and then the number appears on the building, well, the 7 of diamonds was the same number I saw and picked, wtf?

    • I just saw it last night. If you pick the 7 of diamonds it’s because they flip the cards in such a way that it’s the easiest to see, plus it’s 7 and people like that number. That’s why when he redid it I tried hard to see a card other than the 7. If you ever get asked to pick a random number by a mentalist, screw with them and pick 1 or 10 or something obvious :)

  9. Can ask someone, dont know if i’m right correct me if i’m wrong. What is the connection of the ferris wheel? Is that thier reward for their job? Is it a portal to the last scene the theme park? That has a lots of boxes? Is that the reward? Cuz i’m confuse for what they’ll get for becoming one of the horsemen. Risking their live for something for sure. Hehee… Thanx! :)

  10. Ok so I just watched the movie and what really got me was the bit at the end “close your eyes and open them on 3″ or something like that then it went “1,2″ THEN IT FINISHED JUST LIKE THAT!

  11. The card in the end is with mark ruffalo . He took it right before the 4 horse men climbed the merry go around from the girl. And they need that to open the boxes . So it just a hint to the next movie . Look again when mark shakes hand with girl he takes the card away and we all are involved with scene and shock of it being mark .

  12. “The closer you look the less you see.” It’s all moronic scenes to fool the audience. When really “The Eye” is trying to get a message across. Either you see it or you don’t.
