The cast of No Time To Die reveals where they want to see James Bond go next. After 15 years since his first portrayal of the character in 2006's Casino Royale, the latest 007 film acts as Daniel Craig's swan song to his career-defining role as Ian Fleming's iconic MI6 super-spy. No Time to Die debuted in the United States on October 8 and eventually passed F9 as the highest-grossing Hollywood movie of 2021, though Spider-Man: No Way Home is soon coming for its throne.

Set 5 years after the events 2015's Spectre, Bond's latest adventure finds him on sabbatical from active MI6 service, though he is pulled back in by an old friend from the CIA, Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright), and his colleague Logan Ash (Billy Magnussen), who task Bond with finding a kidnapped MI6 scientist, Valdo Obruchev (David Dencik), responsible for creating a dangerous nanoweapon. No Time to Die's cast also includes Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, Rami Malek, and Ana de Armas.

Now, in an interview with Screen Rant promoting the movie's release on DVD and Blu-ray, the cast of No Time to Die is revealing where they want to see everyone's favorite MI6 super-spy go next. Magnussen kicked things off with some pure frivolity, though Dencik and Harris took the question more seriously, the former of the two saying they should honor the "entire Bond heritage" and what Craig recently brought to the character. The Eve Moneypenny actress just wants them to do "whatever works best for the franchise." Read each of their full responses below:

Magnussen: We're gonna like to see... Bond goes... I don't know, to In-N-Out Burger. Bond goes to prom. I don't care. Bond goes to Game Night!

Dencik: Well, I would want the same, in a way. It's tradition. You have to be true to the core somehow, you can't be too creative. So I think - and I'm quite positive that they will - take that consideration into account. Because it can't be too freestyle when it comes to how you decide to portray it. I think, lift the heritage from the entire Bond heritage, but also from what Daniel Craig brought to the films, and to the character. I mean, I thought some of the scenes in Casino Royale with Eva Green and stuff like that, they're good drama scenes, good acting scenes, and I hope that they can put all of it together in the next film as well.

Harris: Well, I would love love, love to be back. You know, I love the franchise. I love everybody involved. And I have such gratitude towards Bond because it really helped reinvigorate my career. And so I'd definitely love to be part of it. But then again, I just think Bond should go wherever it needs to. So whatever works best for the franchise.

Bond finally kills Logan Ash in No Time To Die

Undoubtedly, the first in step deciding where to take the 007 franchise next will be recasting the lead role of James Bond. Though many high-profile actors' names have been tossed around, including Henry Cavill, Tom Hardy, and Idris Elba, Eon Productions will likely lean towards someone more unknown, like they previously did with Craig, albeit to some controversy. A lot has changed in Hollywood since 2006 and diversifying the franchise by casting a woman or person of color is something that deserves strong consideration.

Producer Barbara Broccoli recently said she is open to casting a non-binary 007, though she has said in the past that she doesn't think a woman should play James Bond and the actor should be British. While there appears to be some restrictions on who they cast, it's anyone's guess where they will decide to take the franchise next. Writer Robert Wade recently shared an idea for how to bring Bond back after No Time To Die's ending: cloning, which may not seem too crazy after all.
