@jwalka, what’s up with Asian people putting down other Asian people?

Of course his English is bad! He’s not from an English speaking country! Has that stopped other Asians (or Latinos) who have come from their home country, with little English, to do American films?

No. And there are lots of actors that fit that bill. Personally, I think Rain’s English is fine, and improving. He definately seems way better at it than when he first started a few years ago.

As for his acting, I enjoyed him in the Korean dramas, and in the film “I’m A Cyborg, But That’s Okay.” I think the language thing, plus (yes) cheesy dialogue had a lot to do with how Rain appeared as an actor in this particular movie.

He should get better with more and more movies.

Yes, I’m a fan of his… Yes, I want to see this movie because it looks awesome and NOT just because I’m a fan of his.

It just pissed me off to see that other Koreans are picking on his English, when it’s obvious he’s learning, and Americans aren’t even bothered by it. Don’t be so stuck up, and judgemental.

I think this movie looks awesome !!!
The action looks amazing , so even if Rain’s acting isn’t exactly Oscar caliber I think it will still be a fun experience.
can’t wait to see this one on the big screen

I’m looking forward to this because it looks like just a straight forward bloody violent ninja film geared to the macho man crowd. Although I’m not a macho man and usually those sort of movies look stupid(ie: movies like “Fighting”)this one grabs my attention and looks good.

my korean friends laughed when they first heard he was the main character, taunting him of how his english is that of a 5 yr olds and that he “cant act” heheh it seems alot of asian actors are moving to western movies (korean guy from x-men is another terrible example)
