As part of a promotional campaign for The Dark Knight, Dominoes Pizza is offering access to its ‘Dark Knight Vault’ to any customer who places an order online. What waits in the vault? A brand new extended trailer for The Dark Knight, that’s what!
The new trailer is better than epic, in fact. It is more of a thematic preview, giving us insight into the classic Bats/Joker conflict of order vs. chaos, justice vs. vigilantism, sanity vs. insanity, and the moral question of where the line between good and evil gets drawn. (Thank you, Mr. Nolan, for taking the time and care to comprehend and understand your subject matter.)
I dare you to watch the trailer and not get chills of excitement, joy, remorse (R.I.P. Heath Ledger), and maybe, even a little bit of fear. Heath’s Joker is not a man you’d ever want to meet on a darkened street.
Enough talk! Take a look a the trailer right now!

Too bad of the quality, but it was nice, again. But I will stop and see those trailers now. Don’t want to see all of the film before I see it, if you know what I mean.

Good grief… That movie has got to (and probably will) succeed on every level. Where do they go with a third installment?
I think it is put together very well and I am highly anticipating this movie. I think Ledger will steal the show but it sets up a very interesting dynamic between BM and the Joker in that BM is afraid he may become that which he is trying to destroy. I find the conversation between BW and Alfred to be intriguing because Bruce may be starting to think he is invincible as the Batman and not recognizing his own limitations as to what one man is able to accomplish alone..He is more Batman than Bruce Wayne it seems and if that is the case then is Batman destroying Bruce as well as the Joker? Any thoughts…..
Oh my funking GOD. I don’t even think I can go see this movie now. I am scared I may just explode with the pure brilliance. I hope I, and everyone else anticipating this movie are not let down, but lets face it, thats just not going to happen.
I cannot wait. We don’t get it here until the 25th, but thank god i scored 3 tickets for me and my mates to see it on a Preview screening on the 23rd, still 5 days later than the US but, that 5 days will be me probably sleeping at the cinema.
Oh I think Heath states it pretty plainly for everyone when he says, “This town is MINE, now.”
hmmm…I’m debating whether or not to watch this trailer. I probably will not, I don’t want to see any more footage of the film. Today we bought tickets to day-before midnight show of this.
Oh, in other news, Saw a prescreen of hancock tonight, it was a solid film, nothing bad, but not amazing either. It was predictable from the first scenes.
Also, there was a trailer for the Day the Earth Stood Still before it. The trailer looked really friggin cool although this movie has nothing to do with the original, its just a title-steal.
