I’m sharing your opinion. The more I see trailers, the more I want to see this movie. The curving is really a major note. I loved the last bit, about the car-flip. :)

Yeah, gotta admit that car flip was cool. I slowed down the trailer and although McAvoy’s car starts to “jump” before it even reaches the Corvette, they did at least have Jolie (ok, her stunt driver) brake hard in order to make the nose dive down to simulate forming a ramp. :-)

When you’re at that movie, in the silence of the slow motion car flips, you’ll hear someone shout “wokka wokka wokka” because it is SO Speed Racer & his jump jacks.

I think this movie will be an incredible experience in the theatre.

the MAJOR problem I have with it is how it copies the Matrix exactly.

White guy in office, a nobody, is the future recruit and salvation of underground group (uhh…Neo?)

Super hot and crazy good fighter badass chick recruits him and shows him the loops, becomes main love interest (uhh…Trinity?)

Chick takes Neo to older and wise leader and mighty teacher who is black (uhh…Morpheus?)

Why don’t they just call this:
“Matrix: The other idea for it”

Rob, yeah… the similarities are hard to ignore.

I’m a fan of Night Watch and Day Watch but other than the Russian Trailer that just came out a while ago I have zero interest in this. If you drop Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie from the trailers the movie suddenly becomes a whole hell of a lot better.
