Trailer is better, no doubt, but this still just doesn’t seem like my kind of flick.

For those who are into this kind of film, well, it looks like they’ll get their money’s worth.

It’s a cool trailer.

The only down side with it is the writing is in Russian and you miss the bit where f*** you is spelled out by the keyboards and teeth.

Nice, Makes me think there’s alot less Angelina Holeie in the movie than I thought, which is good. It’s still a huge Matrix rip-off.

I’m just wondering, why is this a matrix rip-off again? I’m just tryin to understand because the storylines don’t really sound similar. Or is it because of the special effects? Anyone?

Lex, if they’re following the plot of the graphic novel, James McAvoy joins a fraternity of super-criminals who took over the world in 1986, killed every superhero who might oppose them and now rule the planet with total impunity. They’ve rewritten reality and wiped everyone’s collective memory using, amongst other things, “seven-dimensional imps and alien super-computers”…! The truth is buried in our subconscious “as half-remembered dreams. And comic books, of course. Approximations of their exploits are still remembered in the funnies, but who even reads them anymore?” Think Watchmen written by Grant Morrison loaded on whisky and terrible powders…

Oh, I see, that makes sense. That cleared up a BIG question of mine. Your in-depth post explained more of the story than what any other sites have explained. So thanks for that because I was not that aware of this film’s storyline. I really can’t wait to see this film! It just looks like an action packed Blockbuster!

I’ve never read the source material, but it will be interesting to see how closely the movie follows it. It seems a lot more conventional from the trailers, but it would be a nice surprise to have that level of depth in the movie instead of just “killing bad guys.”
