Got some new pictures from the upcoming adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling book, Twilight.
The new images seem to offer a glimpse at some of the more climatic parts of the film. One picture shows a bunch of pasty people in baseball uniforms looking vexed about… something. The last two are of bad-boy vampire James (Cam Gigandet) about to chow down on Bella’s (Kristen Stewart) hot blood, while good-boy vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) sprints through the forest, probably trying to save the day.

Rest assured, now that Meyer’s fourth and final installment of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn, has flown off bookstore shelves at record pace, the Twilight movie is going to bigger than Dracula.
Seriously though, it will be interesting to see how the Twilight films stack up against the Harry Potter films at the box office–though Harry has the distinct advantage of having his creator get better with every book she completed. (That Half-Blood Prince trailer looks pretty sick!)
Twilight is set for a December 12, 2008 release. It’s directed by Catherine Hardwicke. Check out the pics below, and be sure to check out Screen Rant’s Twilight crib sheet if you’re over the age of seventeen and have no idea what all this hoopla is about.

Harry Potter was good but Twilight is simply so amizingly breathtaking.Til now what ive seen of the film looks great and the actors seem really qualified for the film.
Cant wiit for it and i hope it wont be a dellusion foer e any1!!!
i saw that someone wrote that the filming was poor,well thats only coz the trilers and teasers are not yet all edited.as for the actors i think they are really great ,expecially pattison.someone also wrote that the characters are not as “stunning” as meyer says they are.well try findin someone as “dazzling” as Meyer describes Edward in the book,its imposswible!!
anyway Twilight and Harry Potter stand on two differnt places but i admit that Twilight is a lot more obsessive than the potter books!
any how niether i can wait for the film and i really hope it wont dissapoint Twilight fans but i geuss its true what they say-u cant judge a book by its film…or viceversa.

and sara, i personally dont think you should worry too much because stephenie sat down with the screenwriter to make the script. so it wont b a big disappointment but there might be little ones. cross your fingers though!!! lol.

anyway im so sad that stephenie is no more gonna write midnight sun!!i mean im in advanced state of depression since ive found out!meyer says that she is really hurt for what they did to the partial version(u know,putting it on internet and stuff) but i only hope that shell get over this difficult moment and dicide,maybe in the future to write midnight sun.as for me im really undecided wether to read or not the partial version! i think its a bad thing to do!!!!what a dilemma!any how i really hope shell finish midnight sun!

yeah i kno. it was very rude and mean that somebody meyer TRUSTED posted it on th internet. i really hope she will finish it. me and my mom are like throwing a fit; we cant read twilight any more without wondering what Edward is thinking!!! it drives me insane!
&& delphina alias sara, you are in a huge dilemma. Midnight Sun is fantastic but now everytime you’re going to read Twilight, you’re going to wonder what Edward is thinking after it stops. Stephenie Meyer wrote it amazingly (like all her books). Part of me really regrets ever reading it yet i’m glad that i did. (She gave you permission on her website to read it, that’s the only reason why my mom and i read it)
Love the whole series and now im waiting for the movie, its looks so good and tempting that I can’t wait for it! Im also excited for the new book Midnight Sun in Edward’s version! Stephenie Meyer Rocks!!!

oh my god! i love this book so much! i have only read new moon the second book in the saga . these books are so amazing they are so much fun to read i love all of the romance and all of the a action and the drama, in the book. i can’t wait to see the movie in November!!!i am so happy that they changed the date for the movie to come out because i really do not think that i could wait for the movie to hit thaetres in December.
First of all there is no need to try and prove your point. People are going to have their own opinion, some people will think the characters fit, some wont.
Also people have different opinions on beauty and all kinds of stuff like that, so when they describe Edward in the book, even though he is described well everyone is going to see them differently in their head because they have a different idea of what that will look like.
I have to admit that I did picture almost all of the characters looking different, but I am not all angry about it!
Also if you really think about it Stephenie Meyer was there to approve of everything and she was even there on set to over see things sometimes. This movie is her vision. It is her book come alive! So it’s kind of like we get to see exactly what she was writing about!!
I am super excited for this! And for those of you true twilight fans(who read the books)remember that books are always 1000times better than the movie!!

i absoulte love the twilight books but i better get reading i am only on the first book but i love it very much i do think harry potter is not that great but i like the 5th book but i got to say i love twilight much better then harry potter. my friends told me about twilight books and i thank them for that because i can not stop reading the books i love the books and can not wait for the move to come out in novermber hopely the movie is like the book i will not see the movies ever again well talia i agree with you i think people should not judge a book or move by its cover!!! lol love the books
Okay I LOVE Twilight! And I think the movie is going to KICK ASS!!! I’m like soo anticpating the release of the movie. I’ve read the books so I do some clear understanding of the story. But one thing for sure is that this movie does not look cheesy at all!! Overall the movie looks better than any of the Harry Potter movies up to date….and I hope they make the rest of the books into movies also.
P.S. I always thought of someone else playing Bella beside the chick they casted. Not that she’s bad or anything but just never had her in mind. And the guy playing Edward fits the description in the book on some points.

FROM WHAT iVE SEEN iN THE TRAiLERS, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER SPOiLER ViDEOS OUT THERE ON THE WEB THERE ARE GOiNG TO BE SEVERAL VARiATiONS FROM THE BOOK. i UNDERSTAND THAT iTS ViRTUALLY iMPOSSiBLE TO TRANSLATE THE WHOLE BOOK iNTO THE MOViE, BUT DiD THEY HAVE TO ALTER iT SO DRASTiCALLY…EX. OMG!!! I have read all 4 books and i am litterly ADDICTED!!! ( and proud of it ) ….i think that both the twilight saga series and the Harry Potter books are very creative cause they both open your mind to something youve never imagined. However, i didnt get obsessed with Harry Potter and i did with Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn……AND BTW…I HAVE OCD ( A.K.A. OBSESSIVE CULLEN DISORDER!)

I also have a couple of movie previews 4 the movie thats coz one of my friends asked 4 them….
i love the twilight books!!! all of them i even got my mom and dad reading them….a own them all! the movie doesnt and wont ever be close to harry potter. he is lame. the movies are never as good as the books everyone should know that….and this is tottaly a chick book but some guys love it more than i do….i got mad at my dad cuz he skipped the first 50 pages saying they were boring but now he went back to read them…..he loves them!!!!!!!!! you havent read the book then you should the movie might bee cheeeeeeeessyyyyyyyyy but you will get sucked in to the book……everytime i read it i just cant help but wish i was bella….expt. when she is almost dieing.

well i think that the books were good but i didnt like the movie i think that is was way off from the books no affence to the actors but idk i was raised with 6 older brothers so the whole love story really dosent go for me and i think that they didnt look like vampires at all i mean i am not a vampire fan but al least make it look realistic oh well i guess know one can have there way hope the next movie would be better
